.: Her Story :.They say that fairies are born when a baby laughs.
But what about Elosia? She's not just any fairy.
She was born when another Jingle cried.
Not born through usual means, Elosia doesn't have parents or a family. Her earliest memory is just her waking up, curled up, inside the hallow of a tree. It felt as though she had been sleeping for a very long time. With no recollection of a name, she decided to call herself "Elosia," entirely on a whim. It has no special meaning, it was only something she thought was fitting.
She came into existence the way she is now, fully grown, from seemingly nothing. She was born from a combination of positive emotions, and
one Jingle's wish to no longer be alone. Although, Elosia is not aware of this, herself. She knows that she must find something, though, and is wandering all over in a desperate search to find it. She doesn't know that she's seeking out Haru, she doesn't know
what it is she's looking for. Until she finds, it though, she's on a never ending journey.
The orb on her tail contains her soul and, if broken, she would cease to exist. Although, with it, she is able to do some unusual things. Under certain circumstances, the orb will, temporarily, change colors. Such as, if she is experiencing romantic feelings, or if what she is looking for is close by. She is also able to sense if someone has good or ill intentions and, fairly successfully, can tell fortunes of others. Those that are kind to her often experience good luck and, as such, there has come to be something of an urban legend among the Jingles of a fairy that grants wishes to those that see her.
Still, her differences sometimes make her a target of those that are insecure. She's been called an abomination and a monster, among other things, but Elosia doesn't hold these things against anyone. She is a positive creature, and doesn't let anyone's words bring her down. In fact, she is happy that she is unique. Overall, she believes that there is good in everyone and those that say mean things would change their minds if they simply took the time to get to know her.
.: Her Role :.Story-wise, she is currently seeking out Haru, but she came into existence because of him. The two are closely associated for this reason. While it is believed that Haru brings misfortune, it is believed that Elosia brings favor. Thus, in that aspect, the two counteract one another. But there is more to it than that. Haru no longer wishes to be alone and, for that reason, Elosia came to be. She's his companion and, quite possibly, ends up being his love, too.
.: Why This Jingle :.I won't lie, I was immediately attracted to this particular jingle because of it's wings. I ADORE fairy wings on just about anything and everything! That's not enough to really go off, though. But seeing the orb, I had the idea of its soul being kept there and that being where it's powers stem from. From there, the story developed. (And, I'll be referring to it as a 'her,' now.) Initially, I wasn't intending to have her associated with any of my existing Jingles, but the part with Haru just, well, it seemed to fit. I already wanted her to just come into existence, making her all wonderfully mystical and magical, but his wishing for her, wishing to not be alone, was just too fitting. Especially once I decided that she brings good luck.
.: Why That Song :.The song sort of reflects her relationship with Haru. That is, to him, she is like a miracle. Not in how she came to be, not her powers, but because she's someone not afraid him. She is precious, his most miraculous thing. However, his existence is similar to her. She exists because of him. Without him, she wouldn't be here, and she is desperate to find him and be with him. In that aspect, she would do anything within her capabilities for him. She wouldn't let him down, and that's all he's ever wanted: someone he can trust.
