peter's favorite pet is a black-footed ferret whom he calls 'owen.' peter and owen had met while
peter was out exploring the great saharan desert, which is known as the most largest desert on
earth. it was in the broad daylight when this happened. peter had spotted this black-footed ferret
laying limp in a shrubby area. it was panting heavily, the poor creature was dying from heat exhaustion,
it could've had a heatstroke. at first the ferret didn't trust peter and felt trapped, but peter gave it a gentle
hand and carried it back to where he had stayed. once there, peter took out a bottle of water and began
to pour some of it over the ferret's body. the ferret recovered quickly, eagerly lapping up the water that
was being given to him. peter decided to keep the ferret, he named him owen after one of his pets when
he was only just a youngster. the two grew to be best friends.

He was quite feral at first, and gave her that scratch across her nose when she first found him, but through lots of time and love (and food) he has warmed up to her quite a lot and generally behaves like your typical goofy, loveable dog now. She named him Gobi.

A little duckling she rescued when she was 10! It was a funny little guy, his name was Harvey. He took quite a liking to her mom's cat Snowball and even would rest on her head, which she didn't really like. He'd also hide in her book bag and wind up at school without her realizing! She got in trouble a lot because of that little duckling, but he was for sure the best pet she'd ever had. Harvey seemed to sense when someone was sad, and would nuzzle into them and let them pet him until they were happy again, much like a therapy dog or cat will do. Everyone who knew Harvey called him their local therapy duck.

terrorises most of the other
cats in the neighbourhood
and is always getting into
fights. she tells him off about
this - but she knows it's not
his fault. and he's punished
enough by going to the vets!
he positively hates that.

Sandra groaned as she heard yowling from the garden. "Oh no... Fat Black!" She ran outside and looked around. Yes - there he was! Fat Black, and another, white, cat, fighting. She dived into the fight and yanked them apart. "Bads cat! Bad!" She told Fat Black, who hissed and clawed her on her hand. She looked at the other cat and sighed. "It would be her," she told Fat Black. "You had to pick her?" She was referring to the fact that the other cat was Sabrina Wilsons and her son, Quartz's cat, Snowy. The cat was a pedigree angora cat with white fur who was deeply loved. They did not like it at all when she got into fights, although they were always very understanding. But Sandra thought she might like it better if they got mad.. their niceness always made her feel so bad!

She grabbed Fat Black and ragged him inside where she locked hm in the pantry. "Stay there!" she said grumpily. She then went outside and coaxed Snowy inside with a piece of salmon. When Snowy was in, she cleaned up her scratches and gave her something to eat before bringing her over to the Wilsons' place. She knocked on the door and when Sabrina answered she explained what had happened.

"Oh dear!" said Sabrina as she took her cat form Sandra's arms. "Don't worry, though, Sandra. It wasn't your fault! And look, Snowy's scratches have been well cleaned. Thank you, Sandra." She smiled at Sandra and called into the house, "I've found her, Quartz! She was fighting with Fat Black again, in Sandra's yard."
