[Venatici]

Second Chance Shelter is a bread rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate breads of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our loaves are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

These two were brought in after the owners left them in the car suffering from heat exhaustion at some big comic convention. They're both very friendly and sociable- they must have been raised around people and brought out often!
We have the papers for the Norwegian Elkhound- they were imported from another country with full bloodlines. They were in training to be entered in some sort of show, but unfortunately the owners refused to say what. The other dog is a german shepherd mixed with a border collie; that being said, they're pretty smart, and boy do they know it! They were acting very difficult and stubborn, moreso than the elkhound, and one of our staff members decided to adopt them. The other is still up for adoption to a loving home!

The competition for the Elkhound is to tell me their favorite character from a movie, comic, or tv show; and then either find a photo of, draw, or describe their collar / harness based around their favorite character! (Normally you are limited to collars only, but I will purchase a harness for whomever wins if you choose to do a harness like Stark)

Not only is this pup dressed up like his hero, he's also named after him. The only time this fidget will sit still is while watching any marvel film, in particular Avengers. The pup also comes running in at just the sound of his favourite characters voice. He just loves the suit and all the weapons on it. He also loves to try and fly like the character. He also finds the comparison to Iron Man/Tony Stark funny and loves the slightly more sensible character as he can relate to him more. Finally, he adores the suit!

The reason why Harry likes Happy so much is partly because the actor in the movies looks so much like his previous owner, such a sweet man… it sucked when he had to give Harry up due to money problems (hospital bills, you know— human medical care is so expensive) and Harry had to live with his owner’s ex… the same one who locked him in that dumb car.

His new owner is great though— they watch the Iron Man trilogy all the time.

And who doesn't love a quirky protector? Being Iron Man’s personal bodyguard is the coolest job. {100/100}
