- Knittens are a sentient species of plush creatures that reside in the deep woods. For years, they’ve
been created by a witch and her eleven assistants, who all take part in the planning, sewing, stuffing,
and decorating of the creatures. They are composed of various fabrics, and can be seen with pretty
much any characteristics in the book. Upon enchantment, Knittens come to life.
Knittens are brought into the world as knits, who grow through the accumulation of knowledge.
They are stuffed with fluffing as well as various compositions of sand that are created with crushed
herbs and minerals. These herbs and minerals give knittens the capacity to aid in the healing of the
sick or the mentally ill.
As well as being magical, Knittens make rather nice companions, since they reflect the nature of
their owner directly. Knittens do have a mind of their own though, and become fiercely attached
to the things they appreciate.
Knittens eat just about anything they can fit in their mouth. However neither food, water, nor air
is necessary for their survival. It’s always important to watch your Knitten carefully though,, you
never know what's out to get them…
