Hazard Kits are a subspecies of the more well known Hazard Cat. Where they came from is unknown. They just sort of...appeared! They stand only about one to two feet tall thanks to their munchkin-like legs. Their fur is much fluffier than their cousins', often giving them feathering and hair tufts. Their ears are only a bit larger than a Hazard Cat's, but the kits can't seem to hold them up all the way, leaving them half flopped. They have less variety, only having heartbeat and heart screens, steam and sound grates, normal wire, and crackle tails. Oddly enough, their crackles feel warm to the touch instead of cold. The malfunctions found in cats like static and goo grates don't seem to exist here! Due to being closer to the ground and easier to bump, the kits' screens are much tougher to break. Instead, they have to watch out for their long tails, which are made up of glass and filled with a liquid (often paint). Hazard Kits have no need to cover up their third eyes, since the powers they have only do positive things. While a cat would stun a predator, a kit would lift their mood so that they consider something else for dinner. Kits hibernate through the winter and prefer to only come outside on warm, sunny days, so they can be hard to spot. Unlike their long-legged relatives, Hazard Kits can only toddle along at slow speeds and are not good jumpers.
