Viscet Gender: female
5 Personality Traits:Why is the Scarf Important?:
☀ Cautious ☀ Clever ☀ Graceful ☀ Intuitive ☀ Resourceful ☀
While most of these traits might seem to be a strange mix, all of these make up who Aurelia is. She was once a different viscet entirely but those days are long gone now. While she's always been graceful and intuitive she wasn't always as wary and cautious as she is now. After her life changed so drastically she was forced to change just as much. After loosing her family to a horrible incident she was left alone, to fend for herself in this cruel world. It was hard for Aurelia to survive to begin with considering her disorder, cursed to be unchanging and to keep the appearance of a young child for the rest of her life. But now it was so much harder without the support of her parents and her entire family. She had lost them all to some very horrible people who tried to exterminate her kind, a caravan of gypsies. Since that day Aurelia has grown much wiser, utilizing her small appearance to keep herself fed and as healthy as she could. She hates what she's had to resort to in becoming resourceful enough to survive on her own. She always had hated the reputation her kind had gotten as her family wasn't the type to steal or thieve but it was all she could do now to stay alive. She's had many bad experiences this way as well and this has taught her to be far more cautious with who she tries to steal from. Between her instincts and experiences, she has become an expert on determining just who she can and can't stand a chance of fooling. Sometimes though it still doesn't pan out quite like she wished it would, often times she is chased from towns and areas before she can even try just because someone recognizes her gypsy scarf. But each time she learns something new, and adapts as best she can.321 wordsAurelia's scarf is one of the last reminders of where she came from and who she really is. With as long as she's been on her own now, it's only gotten harder to cling to who she was. She keeps her scarf close, letting it remind her of life back when things still made sense. Back before she struggled to stay alive or to find her next meal, back when she still had her parents and the caravan who were all just as much her family as her parents were. Back then things were good, and she still believed the world to be a grand and beautiful place.

Aurelia had been born in a gypsy caravan where she grew and learned much. She learned many artistic trades, including how to dance. Performing was part of regular gypsy life for her. Besides family values, dancing was her life blood same as her mother's. It was realized sometime shortly before her coming of age day that she had the disorder. It was a disorder that was rumored to be a curse but no one knew for certain. All that was known was that ones like her would never grow beyond a child's height even though her mind still continued to develop. This had been upsetting news to hear but that didn't stop her mother from encouraging her to still do everything a full grown viscet could do. It was then that her mother gave her the scarf she always keeps with her. Her mother had told her it had been made by her great-great-grandmother and that she should wear it with pride.
And that's exactly what Aurelia did, she wore it with all the pride that she could for herself as well as for her people. Times were still happy then even if she never would grow into an adult viscet. She had learned that it didn't matter so long as she had her family because for her people it was family and that bond that mattered the most in the world. Sadly all good things must come to an end, and in a single night, Aurelia lost all that she had ever known. She lost her caravan, lost her parents, and was left trying not to starve as she used trial and error to try to survive. The only remaining thing she found from the caravan, from her family, was the scarf that her mother had given her. For a long time, it still carried their scents but even that faded after a while. Still, she clings to it and tries to hold on to the hope that things will get better and that she will find her family again.449 words
