Pardus's outfit consists of a thick wool cloak that she uses to shield herself and the items that she uses to hide her pale markings. The symbol is akin to Pardus's unique insignia as a wandering mage and is located on the hem of her left sleeve.

A guard gave Pardus a small glance, and the Viscet-cat felt her heart leap into her throat. However, they turned away, and let Pardus continue on her way. Feeling a grin make its way onto her face, Pardus let out a small mew of appreciation as she slipped behind the guard and into the village.

The plan was simple enough, but brilliant as well. Rosettes were easy enough to come by in this region, the markings on her arms and muzzle would prove the most difficult to get past the guards at the gate, but she was sure she had a way.

All it took was finding a bee's nest that was in the middle of swarming, when they were most harmless. She could handle them with no fear at all of being stung. But the guards didn't need to know that. She smothered her arms and ankles in honey, to make sure the bees would stay in place. She donned her silky outfit adorned with honeycomb markings to sell the part she was to play.

Carefully she gathered the swarming bees in her paws and draped the mass of buzzing things over the honey. Like she had read, the bees didn't bother her, only clung to the fabric and honey. She did the same to her legs and her headscarves. Finally, she carefully put the satchel over her shoulders for the bag full of jars of honey to hang at her side.

The simple part was done; it was the next part that was going to take effort.

At the gate, Mariposa waited patiently for her turn at the check, and then the part she had rehearsed was here. She took care to be relaxed through the questions, as if what she was saying were true. The story was a simple one,

“I am but a beekeeper trying to find a nest for my bees near the desert flowers of the region. The nectar from the flowers here provides the sweetest, most satisfying honey I’ve ever tasted. I have honeycomb and samples in my satchel from my last batch, if you wish to try.”

Who would have thought such a colourful and confusing cape existed? The pattern is consistent throughout the whole material, including hood, though the inside is lined with soft fur to make the cape comfortable. [34 / 50]

A cart rolls up, filled with viscets with rosette spots, pretty much screaming ‘PLOT! VESPER!’ You gesture for the cart to come, and glare at everyone on board. Of course they’re wearing cloth over where Vesper’s distinguishing markings are.
"State your business!" You bark. "And remove those cloths."
"We're passing through and decided to stay for the night here." One says as she slowly pulls off a strip of cloth. "I assure you that Vesper is not among us."
You ignore her words, and snap for the group to hurry. You double check each one, paranoid, worried. You have no choice but to let the group go afterwards, as they were clearly not Vesper. Confused, you turn to another viscet wearing a dark cape, their body hidden, rosette markings barely visible. Just as you were about to speak, you suddenly remember something. You haven't checked the bottom of the cart!
"Hey! Stop!" You yell, turning and running towards the cart. "Don’t move!" You quickly check the underside, before looking up at the guards on the walls. As a last defense, some are on the walls to check those who passed the gate, and if a viscet drops from beneath the cart, they would notice. But they shake their heads, and you release the cart, relieved. You turn back to the viscet waiting at the gate, about to apologise, only to see the empty road. Did he…You glare at the road, furious. He dared to use you as a distraction! Everyone was engrossed your frantic check of the cart that no one noticed where the viscet had gone. Your nightmare is real: He’s in.

"We found her abandoned, alone by the pond; we need to get her somewhere safe!" Souhait said, then continued quickly before chief said anything, "I think her leg is broken!" She said quickly. The chief, looking suspicious, stared down at Miel with a grave look.
"Take her to the infirmary, then." The chief said, then went off to do her duties. Pahit put Miel down.
"Keep acting like your limping, so people don't know." Pahit smiled, and Miel nodded.
"You sure we can keep this up?" Miel asked. Souhait nodded,
"Long enough to do what you need to do."
