Nebulae are small, domestic creatures. They're about the size of a cat with the personality of a dog and large, flowing tails with galaxy-like designs in them. these designs can be any colour, but almost always sync with their eye and pad colours. they've got retractable claws and tiny, sharp teeth but are rarely hostile.

here's the very first Nebulae! for this one, tell me how they got the nick in their ear!

how did they get the nick?;; Since Nebulae aren't aggressive, she didn't earn it from a fight. Actually, when she was a kit/pup (no idea what they are..?) she was running through the forest, and a sharp bramble thorn stabbed through her ear, though it wasn't painful. She didn't necessarily enjoy the scar, though she didn't make any attempt to hide it from other Nebulae.

how did they get the nick?;;

mabel got the nick in her ear from a fight with a stray dog.
while not inherently violent, in times where one's loved ones
are in danger, there is a certain protectiveness you feel, and
you are overwhelmed with the desire to do anything to keep
them safe. that was the case for mabel, but she will never
regret her decision that day.

it had been a nice afternoon—normal, ordinary—all was very
peaceful. mabel and some friends, and friends of her friends,
were out, having a good time as all friends do on occasion.
there was nothing to suggest anything would go wrong, minus
the fact some of these nebulae probably shouldnt have been
there.

mabel heard a low growl, and looked behind her shoulder to
find several large, furred creatures—dogs—who foamed at the
mouth and had angry, savage expressions.

it wasnt long before things descended into absolute chaos. many
ran, fleeing into the woods and put the way they came. others
were cornered or trapped, left behind in favor of escape. mabel
and others tried their best to help the leftovers, and managed
to rescue everyone, but she and the two nebulae she was with
were jumped, and the vicious dog had grabbed mabel by the
scruff and flung her into the thick grasses. it chased after her,
while two other dogs cornered the other nebulae.

mabel's ear was nicked in the following fight, and the nebulaes
who had tagged along were in no better shape. mabel had a bit
of a hard time getting back and finding everyone, and by then,
there wasnt much to be done about her ear. she and the other
nebulae were taken care of, and their more permanent injuries
serve as a reminder of the event that took place.
