in depth personality:
with a tongue like silk, harin lies like he breathes: 24 hours a
day, seven days a week. he enjoys his privacy, hiding away in
the comforts of his room or a familiar room. when harin is not
scuttling away, he's a jack of all trades. good with the ladies,
a kind gentleman: what more could you want from such a new
and charming young visitor? he has a confident aura surrounding
him, he holds up his chin high as he walks maskless. by day, he
is harin, the flirt; the charmer; the playboy. but by night? he is
someone else. swift and alluring, he draws people in. his work?
why, harin is of course a travelling story teller! migrating from
town to town, he brings tens and hundreds of tall tales and short
stories that ranges from the longest of adventures to the shortest
of dreams. some, farfetched, some realistically bone-chilling.
he tells them with a passion, motioning and delving deep into
detail as if he was there himself. he draws in kalons from the
town with his fables, setting up from midday to sundown in the
midst of the bustling town. from his stand, he dons the ever
chilling mask and acts out his story, he disappears right at
sundown: flees the area. and sometimes? he isn't the only thing
that disappears. the confident, proud aura is gone, and in his
midst is a certain feeling of a calm before the storm. it is as if
something else was gone. perhaps, when you look back on it,
you can't seem to really remember what you did this afternoon?

why?:
in short, harin was not always a thief. he didn't always steal from others. as a child, the dark kalon always had a dream for
sharing his creativity. the only problem? harin was not a very imaginative kalon. he grew up logistical, cold, and blunt. it
was a trait he was supposed to be proud of, but he despised it. he was disgusted: why of all kalons, he was the one to be
born with such a lack of imagination. harin wanted to entertain, to share his writing, his art, his passion to everyone.
he left at an early age: he packed up and ventured on from his home to find someone, someone to help him.
"Life sure isn't fair. At least, not to those like me."
He read books: Robin Hood, King Arthur; Stories from The Round Table. he read years and years of thievery, pillage, plight,
struggles, and courage. so he hatched a plan, one fateful evening. if he wasn't able to write his own story, why not find one
he could... work off of? thus, he set off for his journey. years of roaming the world like a forgotten ghost, harin was ready.
he scampered around into small villages, cozy towns, and simply settled himself in. he was going to make his own story,
right here and right now. and to do that, he was going to need to borrow a few stories from the neighbors. it wouldn't
hurt to just take something they didn't need right?
"They wouldn't miss it. Stories are such common things. They can always make up another story, right?"

Occasionally, if an artist feels that an entry for a Kalon that didn't win is deserving of recognition, they will award an honorable mention. If a user accumulates a specific number of honorable mentions, then they are eligible to trade them in for a custom Kalon. They are earned through one's effort put into adoption competitions.5 hms - a custom with one common edit
To receive your custom, you may ask any artist on staff who is available to make your custom. You may then provide a color palette, theme, desired markings, etc. Because the Kalon is custom, you are allowed to request that the artist edit aspects of the design that you are not happy with, but you cannot change them yourself.
