Nacre has an air of danger and mystery; always having a perspective of intensity
and being enigmatic. Having a detached sense of personality, he's not willing to
socialize with anyone he isn't familiar with but strongly pursues his own interests.
Despite having a tough outer shell, Nacre is very emotional. His emotional
side of him is what underlies his empathy for the ones he regards to however.

One of the reasons for Nacre's sense of avoiding most friends
and family is relative to his distrust of people. At one point,
he had undergone an emotional rollercoaster with some of
his most adored friends and is afraid of returning to a hurt
state again after the situation turned into avoidance. For
this reason I had chosen the song Mr. Brightside which
tells of someone becoming hurt after a dilemma with another
person who turned tails on them. The chorus especially reminds
me of Nacre's deep emotions during the aftershock of losing
loved ones and even after.

xxxxSecretive by nature, Nacre isn’t one to tell anyone if there is anything that is going on. He likes to keep things to himself, and he never seems to think that it’s important to tell anyone anything. Part of him being secretive, he just doesn’t seem to trust anyone, and in return, this makings him untrustworthy. Other kalons don’t really trust him either, since he always gives them glares whenever they walk by his notebook, whether they are going to snoop or not.
xxxxNacre can only express himself through free-form poetry, which is what he writes in his notebook. He protects the notebook with his life, making him have a very protective attitude. He strongly believes that what his is his, and no one else’s. He always locks away this things in his room, and if he thinks someone had taken something, he’ll shun them until he gets it back. Nacre’s personality doesn’t allow him to have very many friends, and he is alright with not having friends anyway. He feels that friends are a waste of time, and they he doesn’t need them anyway.
xxxxThe one good thing about Nacre is that he is very creative. He likes to use different colors to express himself and his surroundings, and always sees things under different lights. He has a very vast imagination, and he uses this to get through the day. In his eyes, Nacre can see all sorts of creatures and colors that no one else can see, and this helps him figure out his next poem. He’s a huge planner, and plans his projects way ahead of time before starting them. He believes that this is the only way that anything will ever get done, and he doesn’t like others who disagree.
xxxxNacre isn’t very open-minded, and isn’t really eager to learn something new. He doesn’t judge other kalons, however. He just doesn’t care about what they do, or what happens in their lives. Once other kalons see this about him, they tend to just walk away and not be acquaintances anymore, but this doesn’t bother Nacre one bit. He doesn’t see why he should change himself for other kalons. “It’s their loss of they want to go find other friends. If I have to change how I act just for them, it’s a waste of my time, and it’s a waste of theirs.

xxxxNacre has always been depressed, so it never has been something new to him, but earlier in his life, he wanted to try and make himself better, by begging and begging his siblings and his parents to help him. His family did try to help him, but he didn’t see, and he began to feel helpless. He soon lost all hope, and figured that he would stay this way forever. At first, this bothered him very much so, but a couple years passed and he no longer decided to care. He thought it wasn’t worth it to change something that “couldn’t be changed”. Nacre doesn’t care if he has friends or family, and he also doesn’t care if he doesn’t have friends or family. He doesn’t have a preference of whether he’ll live him life alone or with others. This song describes how he was in the past, and the song would have been sung through the point of view of his family and friends.

Bijoux is very aware of himself and the way he acts, but not in a way that insists he's insecure. Fortunately, it tends to put him as the one others gravitate to in time of need, confidence and maturity lead to the natural role of a leader in times of stress or panic. Unfortunately, it can also give off an air of conceitedness, and an elitist mindset. However, he is also a peaceful, wandering soul that refuses to stay in one place for his entire life. He knows even at an early age that he is destined for traveling from one town to the other, happy to share his stories with the kits of the oceanside villages and the dusty, small-town farms in the heat of the south, but always seeming like a ghost, perhaps, to them- a reserved and quiet, yet quite content indivdual who will slip away during the quiet lull of the night to a new home.
Favorite Gemstone and why:
Bijoux's favorite gemstone is and always will be the ever-changing opal. He finds it similar to himself, or who he aspires to be, in some ways. A very soft and appealing looking stone, smooth and round and always seems to fit perfectly in your palm where it gives off warm vibes of comfort. But the changing tints of blue and purple and rose gold to lime green remind him of his travels, one color -or town- larger than the others, one he may visit the most to return home to his family, but at the slightest tilt it is shifting to three or four other shades that are hidden at first, but always there and ready to be discovered.
