How do they cope with sadness? (222/400) Everyone has demons. They haunt you and beckon you to come to the edge so they can just pull you in. Persephone can cope, however it may not be the most effective method.
xxxxEver since she was a young girl, there always have been events that caused her great sadness. Her go-to method was to just talk about it. Spilling out all her evils and fears kept herself from tipping over. Then, she started to write. Loose papers started to pile up. She bought a filing cabinet just to order them. To the public eye, she was just happy. She kept it that way, just pouring her heart out to remove the demons she couldn't tame.
xxxxIf there are no books or paper around, she struggles to stay happy. In a pinch, breathing deeply and controlling her air flow helps her calm down when she's worked up. She might go and buy herself something, like a new hat, or a couple of new books.
xxxxPersephone thinks about every action she is going to commit to, and acts accordingly if she thinks it will break her heart. This tends to her steering away from romantic relationships or cutting them off early. It's almost a coping method, because if you separate yourself from your sadness, it can't get back to you for a while.
