history
Emily was the runt of her litter; always lagging behind her siblings. It was rough on her as her family lived on the streets, and she couldn't keep up. Eventually they all left her due to they felt she wouldn't make it anyway. So she ventured around on her own hardly making it. One day a cruel kid found her in an alley way. Beginning to kick her and spray chemicals on her face. This happen for a couple days tell Gazelle came and found her suffering. She was picked up by her and taken to a save place. Gazelle would bring her food and water in her box. Tell she finally found a kind human that came to help Gazelle only at first. Tell she lead her straight to where Emily still laid suffering with infected eyes and a paralyzed front leg. They took them both in straight way so they could save Emily's life. It took a bit to rehabilitate her to be use to how she was now. Though Gazelle never left her side; tell she was adopted out and Emily was left there alone. For the days she was she whined wanting someone to be there to help her. One day a girl came in looking for a companion for on her farm. Once she saw Emily she knew that was who she came looking for. Now Emily lives her days as a house cat with many other animals around to help her.

Every second of the day she has some noise going on in the house. This makes her feel safe whether it is music, talking or the tv. Though she more prefers someone to be around to guide her, that isn't always an option and she knows that. Even more so she is given treats a lot and moist cat food.
connection to Gazelle
When Emily's owner heard about her story she asked right away who had adopted her best friend. Once she was able to contact Gazelle's owner she started asking about planned play dates at her farm. Soon they hope to have one to make both of their animals very happy.
personality
Though she is far from being elderly; she still needs all that care and love she can get. Always loving to get cuddles from her owner at anytime. She gets scared when there isn't anyone around her or any noise at all. Being gentle is what she prides herself on as she cares for the others. Though she can be very stubborn once she picks what she wants, she will do it.

Despite missing a leg and being blind, Sketch has a lot of spunk!
She's very talkative and isn't afraid to boss around the dogs ! She
is very leader-like, allowing nothing to stop her or get in her way.
If she wants something, nothing can change her mind.

initial meeting :
Before adding a new member to my small SCS family, I make
sure all the pets get together!

Scout
Upon meeting, Scout was a little wary of the "cat". He had never
seen one before so he approached Sketchers very cautiously. He
sniffed her face and was surprised when she rubbed her head against
his and purred. He backed away but then immediately threw himself
into a play bow and wagged his tail, circling Sketchers and waiting for
her to either chase him back or to play. When he saw her just sit down,
he walked back over and was surprised when she head butted him again.
He seemed to enjoy this as once again he jumped up and spun around.

Bailey
As Bailey was brought in, she immediately walked over and began to sniff
Sketchers, who was a bit confused and eventually turned around and let
out a soft meow. Bailey had met many farm cats at her old home and knew
that they weren't too interested in playing. She walked back over to me and
sat down, waiting to meet someone she could actually play with.

Echo
As we walked Echo in, he immediately stopped and looked at Sketchers,
he then walked over to sniff her and begun to wag his tail ! He laid down
in front of her and softly licked her nose. Sketchers, a bit startled, let out
a soft hiss and backed up. Once she realized nothing would happen, she
walked forward again and sniffed Echo back, rubbing her head on Echo's
and purring. She carefully began to walk ontop of Echo, double checking
before taking a step and eventually getting on top of the large dog, she sat
down and began kneading her paws. Echo continued to wag his tail and looked
over his back, trying to give Sketchers another kiss. This was a surprising reaction
from Echo, who usually doesn't pay attention to other animals and prefers to be
left alone ! As we walked Echo out, he let out a soft whimper and seemingly didn't
want to leave the small cat !


how will she be taken care of? :
After they're meeting, Sketchers formed a strong bond with my other rescue, Echo.
Echo is her guide dog, he follows her everywhere and she will meow when they're
separated. When the dogs go out for hikes, Sketchers follows safely by attaching
Echos leash to her halo harness which she only wears on hikes or in new
Places.
