What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

The sky glittered with stars, a mare sat beneath the star speckled sky, heaving, her breath laboured. She squealed, as she pushed a foal out, just as a star shot above their head.
"Hello my little lucky star." She said, and so I doned my name. I prefer to go by cosmos, though, and all my friends call me that. I grew into a fine young stallion, and though the night sky didn't quite reflect in my coat, I still shone as bright as the star every day I could. I help others find the star as well, such as my best friend Splash. She's had a foal herself, and I got to help name her. Life truly is a magical experience. I haven't thought about love, and I suppose I will worry about when I worry about it. Not anytime soon.

Satin had been walking for hours, choosing to ignore the pain
in his legs. He had been walking steadily for days- seeking a new
residence after his old field had been ruined by the drought. He
regretted having to leave his home, but when the rest of the
herd left because of the drought he refused to leave with them,
stranding himself. His beautiful rustic coat was dull, but Satin
refused to let his poor condition take him. He new that there
was new land near by, he had heard as a colt that there was a
mossy forest that some bachelor stallions resided in. He new
had to be somewhere near. Satin could smell that trees, and
the moss, along with the faint scent of other horses. Hours
later, he plodded into a mossy clearing next to what seemed
to be an old building. There was clear water running nearby,
and the moss provided a comfortable resting spot. Could this
be Satin's new home, or would he eventually move on?
