Asim is usually very quiet and likes to keep to himself. He feels as if he can't trust anyone besides
maybe some parts of his family, but that's mainly all. At times, he feels like he can't even trust
himself. He admits he can be self-conscious, and doesn't like the feeling when anyone even takes
a quick glance at him. Asim knows that some might mistaken him for a fox, but he finds it awfully
ironic since he barely acts like one. But this is where his name comes from: Asim knows that he
was born with teeth and claws for a reason. To protect himself. He was taught how to use them
to fight and fend off enemies and such. But Asim noticed that some can't fend off some things by
themselves, and will do anything to help them, even if they're rude and hurtful to Asim. Think of
it like a way Asim says, "I'll protect you. And I'd expect you to protect me too".
Relationship w/ #238:
Asim is honestly still somewhat wary of them, since he caught them making insulting jokes about
him in the past, but Asim has warmed up to him. Murad has told that he gets frightened easily, and
so Asim took the responsibility on protecting Murad, even on the cost of his own life. Murad has
promised Asim that he'd never make any more insulting jokes about him anymore, but Asim doesn't
really need him to say the promise, since he already knows that. Asim confessed to Murad that
he had starting to like him as a crush, but Murad had ignored any times Asim had said so. Maybe
one of these days, Asim hopes, he won't ignore him. Overall, Asim is really just Murad's protector
and won't let him get hurt under any circumstances.

Murad just wants to fit in. He never had any real friends in his whole entire life (Not including
Asim, of course), and so pretends who he really isn't so he can fit in to everything. All of
the things others like, he doesn't like himself, but will act as he likes them. Murad hates
acting like this though, but he thinks its the only way he'll ever be accepted. He'll do so, so
much to fit in, still. From gossiping about everyone to saying something he actually loves is
dumb. It's like he's trapped and got no other options but to go along with the flow of what
everyone else does. But on the inside, he's sweet and defenseless. Kind and creative. So
amazing, but he never really gets to shine his true qualities.
Relationship w/ #237:
Murad sees Asim as not only a protector, but a role model. Murad loves everything he
does, and finds everything so... amazing for some reason. Murad was overjoyed when
Asim came into his life. When they were around each other, Murad didn't have to act like
someone who he wasn't anymore. He acted like... himself. Murad noticed that when
Asim was around, he wouldn't get all pressured when others told him to do something.
In fact, they wouldn't even tell him. Maybe it was something about Asim that made
them worried. Whatever it is about Asim, Murad appreciates it. Murad was always
crushing on Asim, even the day they met. When Asim tells him that he has a crush
of Murad, Murad tries to ignore the question so it doesn't make it awkward for both of
them. But one day, he'll tell Asim. One day.

Personality: Tloxat is very aggressive, protective, short tempered, and an unsocial-able cat. But I still love him!
Relationship w/ #238: Despite the picture showing that he's protecting Lika, they don't get along, like at ALL, they constantly have cat fights (Which sometimes they get scratches and scars) and they usually avoid each other, which is very sad to me. The only reason he's protecting Lika is because Zydaco is a dog, and Tloxat HATES dogs....
Favorite cat treat: Any and all!
Favorite cat toy: NONE WHATSOEVER, except for his scratching post, but that doesn't count...

Personality: Reima is a streetwise, tough, intelligent, cat. He is the kind of cat who has spent most of his life on the streets and is used to defending himself and surviving. He can be short tempered, aggressive, and overly protective of what is his. However, he can also be very sweet, gentle, and caring with Lajila. He tends to be wary of other cats and slow to trust and form new relationships. He has always acted confident and tough to protect himself from those cats on the street who might take advantage of him, but he does have a vulnerable that seldom shows.
Relationship w/ #238:
Reima is very protective of Lajila. He has become attached to her in a short time, more than he has ever been attached to any other cat. He gets very aggressive when other cats (Or a dog. . .) bother or bully her. He defends her fiercely, and treats her gentle, being sensitive to her gentle, quiet nature. Truth be told, he cares for her very much and even trusts her, not only physically, but with his heart also.

Personality: Lajila is, as her name suggests, shy. She is quiet, gentle, soft spoken, trusting, and patient. She is silent when she first meets you, and may only talk to you a little even after she has gotten to know you. She is sensitive and doesn't like to be teased. She tends to come across as snooty sometimes because of her extreme shyness. To protect herself she has withdrawn even further into her shell as the years pass. But recently she is rediscovering some new confidence.
Relationship w/ #237:
Lajila has slowly come to rely on Reima. He is so gentle and kind with her that he drew her out of her shell. He also seems to genuinely care about her well being and has protected her on a few occasions already. Secretly, she has begun to develop and harbor some romantic feelings to Reima, but she is terrified of losing him when they are adopted out and this has made her feel like she should try to get rid of her feelings for him.




How They Met:
Reima and Lajila met at the shelter. Reima had been caught off the streets in a moment of distraction when he found a sleeping cat in the alley and was then found by a hound dog. Lajila was found a month after her owner abandoned her when she fell asleep then was found by a feral cat and a hound dog.
Reima was furious at being caught, Lajila was frightened from her experiences in the streets and frightened to be kept in a room full of cats
Since Reima was being kept separate due to his intolerance for dominant cats, and Lajila seemed frightened in a large group, the two ended up being put together to see if they might get along. Reima ignored her at first and Lajila was at ease with being ignored.
After day one Reima noticed how frightened his cage mate was and tried to approach her. He tried to get her to talk, but she was silent. Finally he got frustrated, wondering if she just didn't like him. He was a bit scarred and intimidating looking after all.

Lajila felt bad when the tom in her cage seemed discouraged by her silence. In a soft whisper she offered an apology, saying she was frightened and didn't know what to do. The tom seemed to brighten a bit, then he looked concerned. He asked her where she came from and for some reason, she told him. She told him of her abandonment when her human family moved away, and her month on the streets where she had been bullied and teased. He was sympathetic, and even looked angry at how she had been treated.

Reima listened to her story, Lajila was her name. He felt bad now. He knew that domestic cats seldom survived the streets, being so used to their house life. He could also see that Lajila was truly frightened out of her mind and had some scars, a result of bullying from other cats, no doubt.
As they spent another day in the shelter, then another, Reima began to grow attached to his new friend. Her shyness seemed to be wearing off and she was actually pretty fun to be around, even making jokes every now and then. Reima began to care very much for her, but fear of his feelings being unrequited made him silent about them.

After four days Lajila had grown used to having the tom, Reima, as her companion. She enjoyed talking to him and found that he was not as stubborn or mean as she had first thought. As her feelings for him began to grow, she became scared of getting attached and losing him, like her family. What if they were adopted out separately and never saw each other again? Or what if he wanted nothing to do with her after they left the shelter?
Finally she decided that she would have to be patient and let things play out, but she hopes and dreams they might be together even after they are adopted.

Artemis loved her parents yet after leaving home she grew way to anger. She moved away from a lot and finally went to the wild, yet Apollo followed her away.
Relationship w/ #238: Apollo is her brother. They have always been together and are never apart. They love to play games and watch over him. Artemis doesn't like when others try to mess with her brother thought. She will move in front of him and protect him from whatever it is, good or bad. She is one of the best sisters, yet she needs to chill down.

Personality: Apollo is the fun loving brother. He likes to throw parties and have fun. He loves to play and have his fur groomed. He is carefree and can clam down others easy. He isn't a protector like his sister, yet he has to calm her down when she gets in a mood. Apollo is the only one who can do this. He loves everyone and hates when nobody is with him. Apollo just wants to be with everyone. He is also a morning cat and loves to wake up everyone in the house when morning. Him and his sister are polar opposites.
Relationship w/ #237: Apollo is the brother, younger brother to be correct. Apollo is always the one being protected. He hates it a lot, yet only when it is someone he wants to meet. He loves his sisters yet it bothers him that she does this all the time. It was hard to get Artemis away from Apollo when we first got them. The dogs just wanted to play and Artemis keep hissing at them. Finally we got her to calm down and they have been better ever since.

Blaze (#237) is Female & Burn (#238) is Male



Blaze is a regular little monster! She will
always be the first one to hiss in a fight,
often she will win the fight to. She does
have her moments when she is nice and
cuddly but seeing her in one of these moments
is about as likley as getting struck by lightning.

Burn is a bit more submissive than Blaze
often he will try to plot things out rather
than just go into a fight. So usually he will
stand back and watch while Blaze actually
does the fighting. This guy will actually
sit on your lap.



Blaze feels that in this relationship
she is the top cat, as burn did fall into
her yard. Sometimes she can be a bit
rough with him but she always wants
to play or be doing something, and
secretly, she doesn't know what she
would have done in her life without
him

Sometimes well, maybe all the
time Burn can be a bit intimitated
by Blaze, as she almost killed him
once, but she is a strong leader and
Burn will usually follow her lead
without asking too many questions.
he is happy that he has a strong cat
that he can follow and once in a great
while Blaze will acctually listen to him.
And he really does like her.

Blaze got up and streched, another boring day in her boring life, she hoped that something exiting would happen today, and so it would but not in the way she expected. She ate a few bites of food cringing at the horrible taste and went out into her garden. Blaze's owners had a large house in a large neighborhood. Their garden was very beautiful, it had rows and rows of the best smelling flowers and it had a little pond in the middle. Best of all, there were mice and voles and such to be caught and eaten, yes, she thought, those deffinatly taste better than the food they put out for me. She caught herself a small mouse and had a drink from the pond before walking to her favorite spot near the back. She would always look up the stone wall and try to climb it and every day she fell back down. She knew that she had a pretty good life here and that really she should be happy but she always wondered what was past the wall. Oh well, she though maybe tommorrow, she though as she walked around, making sure to brush on everything because after all, it was her garden and other cats should know that. She heard a yowel in the yard and immeadietly put up her defense. She pelted to the back of the garden where the yowel seemed to be coming from and looked around. At the base of the wall she saw an orange cat standing up after jumping down from the top. "What are you doing here?" she hissed

She stopped hissing suddenly when she saw the tom. He had wide scared eyes and ruffled fur. He slowly backed up trying to get away from her until he bumbed into the wall. He let out a yowel as he hit his tail and looked up at the high and intimidating wall above him. "Please, don't hurt me" came his desperate plea. "Then why did you come here" She asked, "and how did you get over the wall?" "I was running from a dog, please don't make me go back, I'll tell you everything." She settled down, "I'm listening." "A moon ago exactly these people came to the shelter where I had been brought, I was there because someone had tried to use me as bait for a fox. Anyway they came in and looked at me, with love in their eyes. They took me home that day. I thought after that I was going to have a good life, I'd seen those house cats, they get to lie in the sun all day with all the food they want, how could it be bad? Then when we got home this big slobering monster came out and ran at me. I thought I would die! Luckily the people took it away, but they've ignored me, no food, I've been trapped in the house. Just today when they were putting the dog out I dashed for the wall. The dog was behind me and the humans were cheering it on! I scrambled up the fence and landed down here." "Wow" was all that Blaze could say. "I thought that my life was boring, I guess that was a good thing. "I guess you can stay here, I have plety of food and no one to talk to.

It had been a week since Burn had fallen into Blaze's yard and it had been one of the best weeks of her life. As it turns out burn was allready quite an adept hunter. On this morning she had completly ignored the so called "food" that was left out for her, fresh kill was just so much better. They caught some mice and went to sit by the pond in the middle of the garden. They had both been feeling awkward, each thinking that they liked the other but the other did not like him or her. Burn was the first to speak "So Blaze, it's been a week since you came and if you want me to go I can" though really he didn't want to leave at all. "You stupid furball" Blaze answered, Burn was sure it was back to the life of a stray for him, "Of course I want you to stay." He was so suprised that he fell off the bench and into the water. Blaze reached down and plucked him from the water. Stupid Stupid Stupid, he thought now she'll never like you. But Blaze just yoweled with laughter.



The garden was nice but it was also boring. These were the thoughts that coursed through blaze's brain one night when she and Burn had been star watching. "Don't you think it would be so cool if we could slip out and see the world?" At this Burn shuddered, remembering just how cruel the world was "You can go without me." Blaze really didn't want to do this alone but she also knew that it would be pointless to argue with Burn sh she went off to make a plan. The next day she dashed out when their owner came into the garden to see them. Unfortunalty, she should have listened to Burns advice about how cruel and terrible the world is. Blaze hurried along in the shadows, keeping away from other humans, until she reached a park. This is where she met her first dog. She had herd about them in Burn's terrifying tales but she never thought that she would meet one herself. She at once knew that she had been too arrogant, thinking that she could brave the dangers of the night. She really thought that she would die there and she might have if she hadn't chosen that exact moment to dash away. She made it back to the garden with nothing more than a nicked ear and from then on she listened to Burn (well, some of the time, occasinaly) but she had learned how good a life she had and she knew now that she should know that others have it much harder than she did.
