Hi guys! I'm really sorry for the delay on this judging- especially to anyone whos been anxious about it. I had gotten tons of help with this judging, and in the end James had come to my rescue due to lack of free time! As for that, I will be mainly just quoting their judging and putting in my opinions on the ones I did get the chance to read!

Judging

The three forms is came down to:

Shimmersolarpets & madras
TenguInari & Yugi
rey doodles & River Song

ShimmerSolarPets & madras.

James: I really enjoyed the stories these two wrote and how well they came together between the two forms. The chapters were really entertaining to read, and I enjoyed that it wasn't a romance story. Not that there's anything bad about that, I just didn't realize how refreshing it was to read an entire impress me based around friendship rather than heartbreak or love, until I got to reading their forms. This one was very closely tied with the winner, but I just feel like there was something missing.

My view: After reading this form, I really have to agree with the above here. There was a ton of content building on their friendship and it really had a place in my heart, I cant figure out whats leaving the empty space feeling, but if I do I'll edit it in here, to maybe help you guys out in future forms!

James: I really like the little animation that was done for it, and the playlist was nice to listen to. As they said, very self explanatory and pretty emotional. I won't lie and say that I was confused for a bit because I didn't realize they did their form on the same thread. They just swapped with each other to write the chapters. which is fine, I think? But it confused me at first.

My view: The animation was really cute, and I listened to the playlist while sketching out some things, which really says a lot because very few songs inspire me to draw when I've got a big art block on my back ;w; Also yes the way you two did your form was totally fine, and this form rightfully earned its place in the finals!

James: There was also one solo form, but unfortunately, there wasn't any on the other side to match. It's a real shame because .kaed went above and beyond with their form, but unfortunately nothing was done for Ririan's form, unless i'm missing something, but I don't think I am.

My view: Kaede, I'm so sorry you wound up solo, but as you went above and beyond as James said, I'd like to offer you a breeding with any of my viscets, with any potions paid for by me. You definitely deserve to have the chance at a character like yours coming to life. If this amount of effort had been doubled (both forms completed this way) I guarantee you my jaw would be on the floor, but I'm assuming real life got in the way for your partner? Pm me with which you''d like and anything added such as potions and when the nursery opens I'll post it!

As for the winner, I have to go with TenguInari & Yugi

James: They both had me captivated and a bit at the edge of my seat throughout both of their stories. They were emotional and very powerful. I had to giggle at how sickeningly sweet the two were towards each other by the end, and I just really loved these forms. They flowed perfectly, the weapons were rad, the ideas were amazing, and the character development through both forms was really on point. I immensely enjoyed these stories <3
My view: I don't even think I can add anything on, but this was definitely a great read ;w; Yugi, I just gotta say since you entered both partner comps so far, just the way you do these with your partners always wows me <3 You both put in immense effort since day one, and I know you'll both be really happy with the fruits of your efforts!

Thank you so much for everyone who entered, and the judging really has no excuse for being so late, I can only apologize whole heartedly and hope it means something ;w;
I loved doing these contests and cheers to the experience everyones gained, and any friendships made in the process!

Super huge congrats to TenguInari and Yugi on the duo! Since day 1 I've been super intimidated by the two of you, aha. The two of you certainly deserve them!

I actually have another piece of art of the Sun adopt that I couldn't add to my form because of communication issues between me and the artist and it ended up not being allowed on the form, but here you go! If you end up using it, please credit TNE271 on FR! Of course, if there's any art that piques your interest in my form you have permission to use them as well, just credit the artists, which should be linked if you click the image <3 As for one of the last images in my form, you could choose to use it or not; but seriously PM me about Hoshi the two of you there could be the outer space trio; Ansang as the sun, Tsukuyumi as the moon, and Hoshi as the star ???? Hoshi's palette and design sort of reminds me of a star ;0c

Congratulations to Shimmersolarpets, madras, rey doodles, and River Song to have made it this far! All of your forms were super scary and I wasn't sure if I could actually do anything as my partner was actually really busy during that time (she had a ton of homework and tuition, and in the last week of the competition hurt a lot because although it was spring break for both of us, she had to go to Australia and was without WiFi for a while), a job well done <3

Lastly, thank you so much Yoosung Kim for the shoutout and your offer. I think I'll take it, but I'll need some time to think about it, as the sort of concept that Ririan and I had weaved is... Sort of complex? I'm not quite sure how it all works, either. Like I mentioned above, my partner was really busy only had the time to manage to get a little snippet of Tsukiko's personality up. I had sort of expected the results to be something like this but by the time the last week of the competition was on its way it was too late for me to go back, delete all I've done and... It hurt too much to do it, so I continued to develop the sun adopt knowing full well that it was impossible for me to win.


Once again, congratulations to all that have made it this far with their partners, and I sincerely look forward to entering in competitions with all of you again <3
