Shelly hoards a load of pillows for comfort. <3 One is never enough for her, she collects all sorts of pillows from the smallest to the largest. She even enjoys making pillow forts when she takes her hourly naps. Cuddling with her pillows gives her happiness and love when it comes to her sleeping. She loves to sleep in the dark, with her nightlight on, and sometimes stares up at her mobile stars with music to help her sleep. Winter is her most favorite season, it gives her a whole lot of opportunities to wear all sorts of her favorite sweaters. Drinking hot cocoa, snuggling in her bed and with her pillows. Classical music is the best for her to listen to in the afternoons while she lays in her bed, snuggling her pillows, and staring back outside relax the beautiful days she has everyday. Even eating her favorite bag of shrimp chips.

Have you ever put your sheets-- or perchance your favorite blanket in the drier? I'm not talking with the intent to dry it--like out of the laundry or anything (although washing it with your favorite detergent beforehand helps!) I mean, just to warm it up. If you haven't, you should try it out-- you'd be surprised-- it might help you relax! I can't even count on both paws how many times I've fallen asleep after doing this. I like to wrap myself up in it all burrito like and take a nap! I've also found that creating a fort out of another blanket and some pillows, and inviting some friends (or your stuffed animals, if you're like me!) doubles the comfort power! This is what's been helping me keep warm on these cold winter nights (like seriously, it has to be 60 below!) I can't wait for winter to be over-- although I can't say I won't miss wrapping up like this when it gets warm again.
But anyway, try it out!

story: She grabbed the hot cocoa off the counter and made her way to the couch that was filled with blankets and some pillows. She set the hot cocoa on the (side?)table next to the couch. She went and tended to the fire making it warmer than it was outside. She looked outside at the blizzard and smiled a soft smile and went to the couch. She went and made a spot on the couch open from blankets on the arm of the couch my the (side?)table. She grabbed a red blanket and wrapped it around her and put a pillow on the side where the arm rest was. With the rest of the blankets, she made a small nest-like structure around her along with the pillows on the other side of her away from the armrest. Her sweater making her even warmer, she tugs the red blanket up around her and snuggled into it. She stuck out a paw and grabbed her hot cocoa which has cooled a bit. She took and sip and hummed has she look at the fire flicker and how warm and cozy she was. She took one last glance outside the window and snuggled back into the blankets.
