Now to the down side, Nyota has yet to answer my message, i sent them one when we got the slots

Because of this I will go ahead and claim the bottom kit for myself, I will name Him Prism.
For the two top kits I will temperately keep hold of them until I can get a hold of Nyota.
If I can not get a hold of Nyota in a months time, I will choose the permanent fates of these
two rather it be to keep or give away. I will attempt to message Nyota again and if my efforts
fail I will make the final choices asap.

Elijah can be described as a very down to earth kind of guy. Things may bother him from time to time but as an adult nothing can truly get under his skin-- you could say that issues from his youth toughened his skin to negative attention. His calm personality serves as a haven for friends in need of a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. Many times he offers himself as someone to chat with if they're having trouble. In the past he's been known to offer his apartment to others and even aid them in paying bills, buying food, or otherwise making ends meet. Despite this he isn't very talkative. Insecurities plague him to the point where he is too off-put from the sound of his voice to speak. If it is necessary he will voice himself but typically Elijah remains a silent character and an impeccable listener. He cannot stand being alone for too long as the silence drives him up the wall. To manage this he will listen to podcasts or watch videos on YouTube to pass the time.
At heart he's a city boy; when there's something on his mind he loves nothing more than to roam the streets downtown with music pounding in his ears. Being in his element allows him to clear his thoughts and to contemplate how to address the situation. On the off chance the dilemma is terribly stressing, he will continuously eat as a distraction. Elijah loves to snack anyhow-- it is nearly impossible to see him without some food in hand-- this is greatly enhanced with troubling times. He tries to let himself be as carefree as possible but he does have his moments of struggle.

hobbies wrote:Besides snacking and roaming about the city, Elijah adores gardening as well as the art of whittling. On the terrace of his apartment are rows of sunflowers along with the occasional tomato plant. The bright, yellow buds bright light to his home and a bit of sunshine into his day no matter how grim it may seem. Each day he depends on his early routine of watering them and checking the soil; his garden is one of his most prized possessions. The tomatoes he grows are typically eaten raw with a bit of salt. This irks a few of his friends but to him it’s an incredibly tasty snack that tides him over until his next meal. Though the garden may be small it owns a mighty part of his heart. On his worse days all he will do is sit outside to watch the leaves of his plants swaying in the soft, city breezes. During the winter when it is understandably more cold they will be relocated to the windowsill of his kitchen so that they may be watered quickly and efficiently while also getting some sunlight.Whittling is a stress relieving activity that he picked up in high school. Elijah opted for art courses where he could not only express himself but also dabble in new things. Many times the teacher taught them oils, pastels, wood working, and photography. One art form that struck his muse was whittling as he found it incredibly fun to learn various techniques to cut at the media, hold the blade, and to show textures. He’s grown so skilled at it over the years that on occasion he will resort to creating pieces as presents for friends and family.

Deep within the boxes piled up in his closet a diary may be found. It contains the following entries from his youth concerning heart break, family issues, and the importance of Don't You Worry Child to Elijah.
Dear diary,December 14, 2008
I’ve started keeping one of these at the recommendation of some of my friends. Ray dumped me a week or two ago and it’s been the only thing on my mind. He said he needed some time alone to grow and whatnot but it seems like a lie. I feel like he didn’t like me in the first place so that was some lame excuse to dump me to get it over with. Dad could tell something was wrong and kept asking but I haven’t told him about it yet. I feel like it’s such a silly thing to be all caught up with, you know? There’s other stuff to worry about besides a break-up. I bet in a month or two I won’t even care about Ray or any of the dates we went on. Now that I think about it things weren’t too serious. Anyway I’m going to go to bed. I’ll try and update this periodically.
Dear diary,December 17, 2008
Today would have been mama’s forty-third birthday. Dad showed me some pictures of her when they were young and I saw a binder of pregnancy photos. We don’t have any pictures of her around the house because it’s too hard for dad to see all the time but it was nice to see what she looked like, I suppose. He took me out for ice cream after then we went to visit her grave. There’s something very guilt inducing to see her death date lining up with my birthday. I hope you’re well, mama. We love you. Please watch over dad.

I told dad about the break-up. He said that things will get easier with time and that stuff like this is always hard on people my age. Honestly he’s probably right but I’m too stubborn to believe him. He and mama were high-school sweethearts. What would he know about a broken heart? I’m almost over Ray but I still feel really bitter when I see him in the hallway or in class. We have a few blocks together so it’s a constant reminder of what could’ve been but will never happen. I just don’t understand why he wanted time away from me, shouldn’t I be able to help him on my own? I know if I had a problem he would be the first person I’d come to but apparently the feelings weren’t mutual. Well diary, it’s only Wednesday, we’ll see how the rest of the week goes.

I just paid for my classes this semester and I’m worried about how I’m going to continue on next year. I’m nearly out of money from my savings account. Maybe I can find some scholarships to apply for or another job to do. I’m already working on campus to help tuition fees but I’m too worried that it won’t be enough. The other day my dad called me about my savings and dropped another bomb that his health is getting worse. He’s been having heart problems for years but his doctor said he’s at a higher risk for heart attack and blood clots now. Dad said he’d try and change his diet though so at least there’s that.
Dear diary,January 24, 2012
It was too windy for my sunflowers to stay outside. I don’t have any tomatoes right now because I picked them last week but I replanted my flowers yesterday. News said that it’s going to rain hard this week so I’m going to keep them indoors. There’s some party on campus this Friday but I’m not sure if I want to go because there’s a season premiere going on for some show Kai recommended to me. I’ll just have to see!
Dear diary,January 28, 2012
A classmate of mine died at the party. Apparently, he drank too much and stumbled into the road when a truck was passing by. They said he died on impact. I didn’t know him personally but I feel awful; he was on the sport’s team and was always nice to me whenever we interacted. I think the funeral is next Thursday so I’ll attend it if it doesn’t interfere with my classes. Dad called and said he was feeling a bit tight in the chest so he admitted himself to the hospital.
Dear diary,January 30, 2012
I've neglected this a bit but the doctors said that he had a mild heart attack and seems to be doing fine. He’s been there a few days so they can do testing and monitor his behaviour. In other news I got a good score back on one of my papers and weather is looking fine! The sunflowers are back on the terrace. Today Kai gave me some new seeds that he said I should try out. A few packs are for cucumbers and the rest are for carnations.

Elijah may lead a simple and easy-going life but he has a handful of items on his bucket list that he wants to do before he croaks. One of these things is the ever popular trip skydiving. He is petrified of being any distance above ground from ladders to airplanes so being able to conquer this phobia would be an enormous accomplishment for him. Another task would be to go scuba diving. The underwater world has always been an object of increased fascination; coral reefs and colorful fish seem to entrance his mind. It would be a wonderful opportunity to see such gorgeous creatures up-close in real life. His final goal is to major in sociology to become a social worker. Being able to help others improves his self-esteem, makes him feel better, and gives him a sense of achievement. By giving others all he’s got he’s been able to get them out of dangerous situations or bad homes. His biggest dream is to help as many people as he can which makes social work the perfect profession.

Elijah takes deep interest in tarot cards as well as wicca though he does not experiment with either directly. He is more of a curious onlooker of both and enjoys learning more about them. He has a phobia of clowns (coulrophobia) and a phobia of heights (acrophobia).
