Their biggest regret -- Krieger has many regrets, as do we all, but he would have to say his biggest one is rather simple in comparison. However, he can't stop thinking about the time he didn't offer a passerby some help.

He didn't know the guy, but still, for whatever reason, Krieger just keeps thinking about him. The look in the other's eye as the male Kalon didn't so much as pause on his way.

Often, if he lets his mind wander, Krieger wonders how the other being is fairing. His injury wasn't life threatening, but it was worse than the one that inflicted the scars on his dark brown hide.

Maybe it wasn't so much that he didn't regret helping the other, but he regretted his own selfishness.

Their biggest regret -- So he was just a teenager, wasn't it expected that family was the last thing on his mind? He'd dyed his hair, gotten piercings (which now, thankfully, had closed up) and spent his evenings sneaking out, smoking cigarettes with his friends. He was a cool guy. Way too cool to spend time with an ailing grandma who didn't remember who he was anyway. She was old and boring and told the same three stories on loop. She called him "that juvie kid," barely remembered her own daughter, his mom—never him. So why should he care? What good was it bringing cookies to someone who thought he was there on community service? Who didn't recognize the kid she'd hosted every summer since he was three? He wished he had anyway. After all, it wasn't like she knew better. And he had looked like a delinquent, even if he wasn't really a bad kid. He'd straightened out now, gotten rid of the red-streaked hairdo, and grown up. And… now that she was gone, he missed her. Of course, he really missed the real grandma he'd known. But… maybe she'd been in there somewhere after all. He never gave her the chance.

Tuma had a family once. A beautiful mate and adoreable kits. Actually a perfect life, but heute felt, something was missing. He was searching for adventure, so heißt left his family while his kits were still very young. He went on a journey, heute wouldnt return very soon.
All on his own, fighting to survive, he learned one thing: he already had the most important thing in life. A family that loved him. So after two years of walking through the lands, he decided to return home.
He didnt really expect what he found there. His beloved mate found herself a new partner. Even his kits called them father. While he was away, the new one saw the first steps, heard the first words of his beloved kids. They didnt even recognize him.
First he felt nothing but hate. A feeling he managed to overcome. He saw his family happy without him, and decided to leave them again. They didnt need him anymore. Ever since he regrets going on a trip he got nothing but loss from.
