Back when Westrossa Mustangs began to grow in popularity, many breeders took notice of this new and promising source of income, adding the newly discovered breed to their stock. This was extremely profitable for a time; however, depending solely on the income raised from selling off the seemingly endless supply of foals that were being born of the breed, when interest in Westrossa Mustangs began to decline near all of the breeders who had invested everything in their stock began to fall into financial crisis. Foals were still coming, but they were not going, not nearly as fast. There was an overabundance of young Westrossa with nowhere to go, and eventually, most of the groups who had staked their lives on these horses were forced to give up everything they had when the banks came knocking. This group of mares you see before you were rescued from one such place, long abandoned when a group of rescuers found them in a very overcrowded free range pasture. They had formed their own herd; at the head of which was a foal who had been born and raised during the big popularity boom. Flying under the radar, nobody had ever noticed this little foal was indeed a colt, and by the time rescuers came to the rescue of these poor forgotten mustangs, he had caused an even larger problem; he had impregnated nearly all of the mares who roamed that pasture with him. Now, the young stallion and all the mares carrying his unborn foals have been seized, and are looking for new homes.

Welcome to the Adopt-a-Newbie Rescue Event! In this event, our established community members will team up with users new to Westrossa Mustangs and show them the ropes! They will be paired with a rescued pregnant Westrossa Mustang mare, and will be tasked with completing a series of assignments to help get the newbie familiar with our community, and at the end, their mare will give birth to a foal, who will be given to the new user to help start off their herds!

[ ● ] For the sake of this event, a newbie is considered anyone who owns five or less mustangs, so even if you have been around a bit but have yet to really get involved and start your herd, please feel free to join!
[ ● ] Please strike out your form after you find a partner!
[ ● ] You will be paired with a mare randomly; please do not ask me for any specific horse.
[ ● ] There will be no complaining or bribing for slots or trades if one user does not like their given horse as much as their partners; however, if both parties consent, trades and slot trades are fine, just please pm me if an ownership change occurs.
[ ● ] These mares may be bred outside the event, however not until the event is over, and all foals born to them during the event will take slots.
[ ● ] None of the foals in this event may be bred with one another as they all share the same sire; Jackie.
[ ● ] Helpers, please feel free to post or pm me a small blurb about yourself that I will add to the list so our newbies can get to know a little bit about you.
[ ● ] Established users are limited to one newbie to begin with; once they have finished the tutorial/tasks with said newbie, they are free to pick up more, with a maximum of six total, however, please give others a chance to help. ^^
[ ● ] Every newbie that you help will get a foal from your mare and Jackie, so if you'd like to save some slots with her please keep this in mind.
[ ● ] Newbies may only enter once, and may only receive one foal.
[ ● ] If the established helper who has claimed your form has not completed the tasks with you by the end of the event, please send me a message and I will still create you a foal.
[ ● ] If any user, including the newbies, fails to complete their duties/tasks by the end of the event, their horse will be taken and re-adopted out.
