██████████████████████ JETTA - a rather peculiar Goblin Gator... to say the least. With teeth made from what
can only be described as steel, his often brash and brutally honest personality,
mixed with his matted and rough looks, most other GGs tend to shy away from
Jetta. Upon first looking at Jetta (or just 'Jet' for short), he's a case of 'what you
see is what you get'. His oily, rusted and carbon fiber appearance didn't come from
nothing, after all! Jetta does indeed live a life engulfed by cars. Whether it be the
interior or the exterior, Jetta can get you anything you can dream of - and install
it too! Jet considers himself lucky for having his features, the ones that others
usually put him down and call him 'strange' for. His teeth, besides just being good
for intimidation purposes (which is something you need when almost every second
of your day involves being pushed down by people who don't understand you) but
they are also incredibly tough, and heat resistant! This allows Jetta to handle hot
parts, bolts and tools! Because of the oil like substance that seeps from this GG's
mouth, he can handle hot temperatures... only for a little a while however until the
heat begins to get to him. Although thought to be flammable, it can work the complete
opposite, almost as if Jet can change the thickness and use of this oil. It's not only
his looks that others don't know what to think of him for, but Jetta also has a little
bit of a rough reputation, stealing parts and scrap metal from abandoned and broke
down cars. Occasionally this can get him in trouble, but most of the time they don't
care... that, or he just doesn't get caught! The way he sees it, otherwise these very
valuable parts would go to waste, left to decay and become run down. Same thing
goes for the cars themselves, on top of modifying and tuning, buying, selling and
installing aftermarket performance and appearance parts - Jetta also restores old
vehicles! He is named after none other than the Volkswagen Jetta, a car very well
known by car tuners. It was also the first car that he had ever modified, a project
that his dad started with him when he was only young. Kept to himself and as a
mystery to others, Jetta is able to use his elemental earth skills to locate these
precious metals, even in their raw form buried in the ground.
Jetta grinds his teeth often, partly by habit and partly on purpose, as he knows
the metal-on-metal sound annoys others, similar to that of nails on a chalkboard.
He also uses it as a warning, snapping his jaws shut and produced a clang that is
sure to ward off any other Gators that decide to approach him - since they are
usually up to no good anyways. His fur (yes. his messy, tangled fur) is actually just
the way he likes it. He doesn't bother fixing it and combing it, because not only
does it just get tangled once more after only a few minutes in his shop, but because
when it's left loose, it is actually quite long and gets caught in his tools and work.
Saying that Jetta is obsessed with cars... it wouldn't really cut it. Jet barely sleeps,
which is part of the reason his appearance is not in tip top shape. He spends all of
his time working in his cars, so much that any of his close friends know it's pointless
to try to contact him, an instead have to go to his garage and get his him up from
underneath his cars. Jetta can be quick tempered, and fiery at that. Most of the
time he doesn't mean to snap - it just happens. When it comes down to it, Jetta is
actually a very sweet, polite Goblin Gator... although he's a little misunderstood.
However, mess with his cars or his projects an you'll meet a whole new side of him.
Throughout all his life, his cars have been the only things that have been there for
him, and he's learned to appreciate them immensely because of this. Although he
tunes cars, there is a big difference between him and what would be called a 'Ricer'
to anyone in the car scene. These are the people who add over-exaggerated
modifications to a vehicle that are most of the time cheaper than the parts themselves.
It's not to make the car perform better, but instead to make them look like it's a
fast care, but ricers usually only make it look the opposite. They spend more money
making their car look like it goes fast than they spend on actually making it go fast,
which is the complete opposite of what Jetta does... don't get him wrong however,
a nice wing and some expensive rims are some of the best things you can do - when
done right. Because of his dislike of these people, Jetta has developed a dislike for
rice, the food, itself.
Jetta doesn't mind being deaf, he's just learned to cope. But when he does care, he
isn't upset that he's deaf because he can't hear people talk to him... He is upset he
is deaf because he can't hear the sounds of his cars.
Their engines. Their exhaust. His work.
Strange? Sure.
But what about Jetta isn't strange?
