Ever since Satoru's father bought him a knife for his 12th birthday he has been obsessed with them. His family has always been wealthy and because of this his parents were able to agree to Satoru's demands for knifes. His interest for knifes gradually grew until he decided he would take the next step and make his own knifes. Satoru went through many lessons and mastered many techniques for creating his own knifes. Not knowing what to do with all the knifes he made Satoru decided he would open a side business and sell some of the knifes he made as well as offering custom made knifes.

Satoru Isn't really the snobbish type even though his parents are rich, he has a down to earth mentality and never thought of himself as being superior to another. Satoru has always believed that he shouldn't rely on his parents too much and that he should make his own living but despite his way of thinking many other Kalons think that hes a snobbish guy who leeches of his parents. He doesn't have many friends because of this and is used to being left alone. Satoru's second most treasured thing besides his knifes is his beloved cat Asami, he will do anything to make Asami's life comfortable and she is quite pampered and spoiled. Besides spending time with his cat and working on knifes Satoru likes to frequently visit a bar that is owned by one of his few friends.

seven he didn't really know how to work
the camera so most of the photographs
were blurry and crooked. Richie got the

and never really took serious photographs
until he turned 18 and adopted a small
white female kitten by the name of peggy.
Peggy was the light of richie's life and he
always took photographs of her. He dresses
her up in dresses and small tiaras just to
take pictures of her. Peggy was a grumpy
kitty and she hated being dressed up but
she always enjoyed photographs and being

Being raised from wealth and class, Shijiro has valued elegance and beauty at a higher level than most. One of the ways he has expressed this has been through his passion of flower arrangement and photography. Once in awhile, he will stroll through his elaborate garden and select flowers, usually roses, to cut and bring home. There, he sets them in various vases and will arrange them in such ways that he deems beautiful. Shijiro spends many hours nitpicking at details, until he is fully satisfied with the outcome. Then, he takes many photos of his masterpiece, and posts them on his blog to share to the world. Often times, his beloved cat, Evangeline, is featured in his photos, adding a cute little touch to each one. Many fans call Evangeline his "true love."

Shijiro takes great pride in what he does, and gets great happiness and pleasure when others enjoy it as well, despite him not having too high of a follower base. He often gives away his arrangements to those that live nearby, or anyone who takes interest. Since finances are not an issue to Shijiro, he has no need to charge for his arrangements, and is more than happy to simply give them away to another for free. Their happiness is what he loves to see.

He often feels that his wealth is what others see in him first, and that is something that deeply bothers Shijiro. He wishes to be seen as a gentle and caring man, rather than someone who just has a lot of money and time. Because of this, Shijiro tends to be a little reclusive, but slowly and surely, his true colours are beginning to show to others around him, as a truly wonderful man.
