Why Does He Have a Rope Halter?: Dio has a rope halter rather than fabric is because he is sensitive.The fabric halter touches too much of his face where as the rope halter is loose and touches minimal amount of skin while still being effective in allowing him to be lead. Everyone has to admit though that even with out the traditional halter he is such a stunning lad.

Why Does He Have a Rope Halter?:
Due to his unusual markings and coat colour, Oíche, previously named 'Spot', was stolen from his owners during the dead of night. The operation was clean. There was clear planning involved, with no evidence left, except from a single hoofprint in the mud. After a number of months, possibly even years with these bandits, Oíche, along with the other stolen horses, planned an escape, and, just past midnight, all evaded their captors. Oíche had been tied up at the post, and managed to break the lead-rope, but not the halter. They had no idea of their previous lives, nor of their previous names. One of his younger companions nick-named him Oíche, due to his dark coat with 'star-like' markings. The name stuck, and, despite his best efforts to rid himself of it, so did the halter. He keeps it now, wearing it proudly as a memoir of his bravest moment.
