what would I do if ares' valentines day would go wrong? well, first off I'd hide lots and lots of hershey kisses all around his room, they are his favorite sweets and after all he always says it himself: "chocolate is the best medicine!". when he comes home I'd play his favorite song "tous les garçons et les filles" by françoise hardy. since he was a kit he had a passion for old songs, especially french ones! next, I'd bake him his favorite cake: a mon cherie cake. you might be thinking "isn't a whole cake a little much for a single kalon?" the answer is "no". ares might not seem like it, but he has an unsatiable appetite for anything involving chocolate. if he's still not feeling well afterwards, I'll prepare a rose petal bath for him. the soft smell of roses always calm him down if he is upset. so, even though his valentines day didn't go very well, he'll still have a nice, relaxing evening at home.

Describe what went Wrong with their Valentine's Day
Being single is a curse for him on Valentine's Day because of this.
"Hey!", Max said, hugging her. "Hello!", she replied with smile. "I am have something," Max said with a grin, adding, "Close your eyes."
"Now open your eyes." Max said, holding out a dog with red bow, a box of chocolates, and roses. Her eyes lit up with surprise. She happily took the box then said, "Oh my! Thank you so much! " Max smiled. She held out a box and said, "I know this is not as amazing as your gift. Here you go there is a note with it and I have to go. I'm so sorry to leave you behind here alone." Max took the box and replied, "It is fine, but at least we got to spend some of it together." She said, "I glad you are alright with it." She ran off to meet the guy she likes and the gift she got. Max opened up the box and to his surprise was a note explaining that she met someone else she likes more and they were breaking up.
He spend the rest of the day alone. He cried the whole time being alone.

Romeo is a true casanova that has never really been turned down before. He's also never really fallen in love before. Well on Valentines Day he showed up to a restaurant he had picked out with flowers in tow only to find his "girlfriend" standing there with and less than enthusiastic look. It took moments before she broke up with him with the reasoning that she just felt like he was worlds away from her no matter how much time they spent together. As she was walking away from him he began to have a strange feeling that he had never experienced before. He began to tear up the longer he stood there with his chest aching. For the first time in his life he had lost someone, and the worst part is he couldn't bring himself to stop her. He just let her go. Romeo had never experienced what love actually meant until he had to watch the only thing he had ever loved walk away from him.

Adrian is a bit of a romantic. As he left his home to surprise his valentine with a song he had written, he encountered an unfortunate setback. Seeing him walking down the street with his little red ukulele might have made some smile, but those that did only laughed at his love-struck appearance. The young kalons followed at a short distance until Adrian had reached his chosen spot. He’d planned it perfectly. The setting sun’s colors reflected vibrantly on the river behind him. Small spring flowers swayed at his feet as he sat awaiting his valentine’s arrival. Once he saw her down the path, he began to strum his ukulele. As soon as she was within hearing range the group that had been following Adrian leapt out and dumped orange juice all over his head. Now he was sticky and smelled strongly of citrus fruit. His paws were too stuck together to continue playing so he attempted to hide, only succeeding in getting twigs and dead leaves stuck to his fur, giving him the appearance of a ragged troublemaker. He watched sadly as his valentine passed by, face hot with embarrassment, hoping he didn’t look as humiliated as he felt.

The date was going very smoothly for him , but however they didn't realize and then it started going downhill from there. He forgot to them about it.

They had brought two homemade cookies, one for themselves and one for him. He was happy to accept it, but after he swallowed his cookie he started to feel sick. He wasn't aware that these cookies were peanut-butter cookies, which he was highly allergic to peanuts. As he walked up with his date to the dessert counter, he felt himself blacking out,and the last thing he remembered were of screaming and something crashing.

Later, he woke up at the hospital with some IV fluids hooked up to him, and his fur felt... Sticky. A friend later told him he had knocked over the chocolate fountain and it spilled everywhere, and the restaurant wasn't happy. With medical and restaurant bills looming over him, he was not fond of trying to clean the chocolate out of his fur, or the fact that his date ran away from the scene and didn't pay the bill as planned. Even with a long sigh, at least someone called the hospital.

----Marcelo had been seeing someone for a little while, going out on little coffee dates when he found the time, grabbing lunch or catching a movie sometimes. Ya know, casual, easy dates. It took him months to ask this Kal out on a proper date, and trust me when I say he was shaking the entire time. But the Kal said yes, and Marcelo could not have been any happier. He'd already booked a reservation at one of the hottest date spots in town, and had an order placed for roses to be delivered to this Kal's front door, just to prove his point. Everything would be perfect.
----Finally, February 14th rolls around, and Marcelo hasn't heard from his date in... days. Well, that's odd. In hopes to figure out what they've been up to, he decides some good ole' fashioned sleuthing is in order. Nothing on Facebook, Tumblr, Snapchat... but on Instagram, he notices his date's name pop up immediately, and all the color drains from his lush red face at the sight. There she was, snuggled up in some other Kal's paws, bouquet in hand, and a caption reading, "My Kalontine ♥" He was heartbroken.

Syn was so stupid. He should have known. He was just about ready to die from embarrassment. There he was, right after he had handed his crush a bouquet of roses. He had picked them out that very morning to ensure that they were as fresh as possible. Everything had gone great, or so he had thought.

Syn walked up to his crush and tapped them on their shoulder. They turned around and he extended his paw holding the giant bouquet of roses he had just picked up. "These are for you." They extended their paw to take the roses from him.

"Thanks so much Syn, but there's just one problem," they said as their eyes began to water, "I'm allergic to roses!" With that being said they let out a huge sneeze causing loose petals to fly everywhere. Their nose and eyes looked very red and irritated.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know!" Syn quickly grabbed the bouquet away from them feeling his cheeks heat up, they felt like they were on fire.

"Syn, it's fine, you-" Syn didn't stick around to hear the rest, he was already running away with tears running down his cheeks. [199/200]
