I was so confused on why I wasn't getting any of the rats

I've been seeing that people are getting 2017 zebras, not the valentines ones but ones that look like regular zebras and don't have there rarity, where have people been getting them..?

People have a chance at randomly adopting a zebra when picking up the monthly equines c:
It's an extremely small chance, though - that's how they continue to stay so rare. Zebras were first released in 2009, and that's why they're sorted there in the archives, but they're still being released the same way.
They were briefly retired after CS stopped using the old (equimagine) equine linearts, but after the new zebra lines were introduced, it was decided to make zebras available once more.

Somehow it does. I remember last month I adopted the chickens an hour late because when I opened all the tabs to grab the new pets, the hatchery link didn't open (probs hit the wrong key, lol).
I only realized my mistake when I saw people posting eggs and couldn't remember seeing any. Whoops!

Not noticing the complete lack of rat newborns despite seeing people's growths for 20 days is quite the achievement, though :P

So it would seem that my presumption about this litter being a "marble" based idea was correct after all. XD

This first outcome did not fail at amazing me in the least (not that I doubted it to begin with) but I cannot WAIT to see how fantastic the rest of these babes turn out! I am in love. 😍
