Alistair +
KanoAlistair's eyes flickered around, he paced back and forth lightly humming as he checked everything over. He hadn't celebrated Valentine's day in a long time, longer than he could remember, what was he supposed to do? He sucked in a breath and reran over everything as he stared at a paper in his paws. "Lights are dim, flowers around, u-um candles..." He looked around and then nodded as he saw two dimly flickering candles, that should be good enough hopefully.
Alistair had previously set up everything the other day, well secretly. But this was it, due to him not really knowing how to do this he had to read off of a magazine. Hopefully this magazine wasn't out of date.
With the tilt of his head he cleared his throat and crumpled up the paper throwing it in the trash bin near him, Kano should be ariving any moment now. As if he was summoned by his thoughts, there was a soft knock on the door as the doorknob jingled and in stepped Kano. Alistair lightly blushed and kept his cool stern face on, the only sign of emotions being the light pink decorating his cheeks where his white fur sadly didn't hide but the darkness could. A gentle gasp of curiosity was heard from his mate Kano as the poor young man looked around, "A-Alistair are you home?" He asked with questions. Alistair suddenly felt nervous but walked over to him gracefully. "I'm home," he hummed out in his naturally deep husky voice. "U.. um welcome home Kano," he stuttered out flustered as he grabbed the bouquet of flowers he set on the nightstand near the door and handed them to Kano. Kano shut the door behind him and turned around, his eyes widening in surprise as he was handed a bouquet of beautiful roses. "Oh Alistair, these are so lovely." He squeaked out with a blush taking them, something seemed odd though.
Alistair smiled at him with a toothy grin, "you like them?" He asked hopefully, Kano nodded and laughed hugging him. "Indeed I do!" He took a moment to look around as he looked over Alistair's shoulder while hugging him. He squinted lightly, why was the room so dim and petals everywhere? And why where there candles lit, they didn't have candles. Apparently though he was wrong about that, because there indeed where two candles lit in the house. "Um, Alistair?" Kano called out his name questioningly. "Yes my love?" Alistair replied back.
"Alistair what's going on?"
Alistair pulled back a bit and looked at him with worry, "you don't like it?" He asked with a small hint of rejection. Kano quickly waved his arms and pulled Alistair back, "oh no no that's not what I was saying, I'm just surprised to come home to whatever is going on. Are you feeling well Alistair?" The smaller Kalon asked as he touched his mates cool forehead, Alistair shook his head. "I'm fine. I was just trying to give you a good Valentine's Day but it seems I'm not going about this right I guess." He sighed and hummed, " I read it in a magazi-" He was cut off before he could finish though, the sound of Kano's laughter stopping him. "What's so funny?" He asked narrowing his eyes at Kano, who in return was trying not to topple over from his laughter as he waved a hand at him. "Nothing haha nothing at all! Its so sweet that you did this for me, but I don't think magazine's are quite reliable." He giggled out, Alistair blushing in return. "Oh? How come?"
Kano snickered at him and stepped forward cupping his cheeks, "oh Alistair you goof you. I would've been happy enough with the flowers, they are so lovely. You don't have to try something that's out of your comfort zone to impress me." Kano smiled in amusement as he lightly gave Alistair a nervous peck on the lips, "thank you though Alistair." He hummed out and hugged him, Alistair's arms embracing him and hugging him back closely as he blushed. "I- I'm not too sure what to say Kano, you've got me stuck here. So do you like it?" He asked, Kano rolled his eyes and smirked at the question. "I do but you really didn't have to do this, here come on let's go do something we normally do. Like let's go watch some movies and snuggle," he chuckled out as he grabbed Alistair's hand and lead him into the dimly lit living room as they then spent the rest of their Valentine's day snuggling and watching movies together.
