May as well. Typically in dog shows it is a silver chain with a black lead, silver chain with a silver chain lead, or a thin black leather collar with either a black leather lead or silver chain lead. Never gold, but because these are not actual dogs silver chain or gold chain only.

Sorry, but this is actually incorrect.
In the dogshow world it doesnt matter what color your 'choke' chain or lead is so long as it works and is appropriate for the type of event your in. In conformation we use use strictly choke chain (silver, gold, or a colored nylon color) and a showmanship lead (depending on how invested into showing you are depends on the type of lead as they can be simple nylon cord, nylon cord with glass beads, or a braided leather cord with or without beads.). In obedience and rally choke chains are used as well, but the leads are your traditional flat leash (must be a 6ft lead and typically leather, but nylon is accepted as well). In agility only buckle collars are allowed as choke chains could lead to serious harm of the dog, and your typical flat lead as in obedience and rally.
Sorry again, but I just wanted to make sure your information was correct.
