about the adopter;; I am a nonowner, and this sweetheart is just the cutest thing ever! I love her cat socks, I think that adds a great touch, and bonus points because I love cats. I have so many ideas for her and I'd be so happy if I was able to have her as my first Kalon! kawailani is born on the beautiful island archipelago hawaii, exactly on maui, into a loving and spiritual family with one older sister. her parents are lucky with her older sister kaimana, who seems to been gifted by the local deities with a special connection to the sea. everything around this element she finds that no trouble and becomes during the years some kind of a celebritie on the small island for ruling the most popular sport event there: surfing. for the previously modestly living family, this means good prize moneys and a high status within their people. most of em believes in generous heathenish earth deities who´s sometimes gifts a child with fortune, good skills, beauty or intelligence when the parents are especially faithful and peacable.kawailani means, "the heavenly water", a gesture to thanks the deities for their generosity and perhaps a little bit in the hope for the same gift for their second daughter. perhaps the deities were angered about their greed ...

it seems that the sea tries to spit out kawailani, once she set food in and the surfboard behaves like a furious mustang which bucked when she tries a ride. the only thing kawailani regains for her effort, are pity and laugh, no matter how hard she tries. in the formerly cheerful and sportive girl, doubts and desperation begin to grows when she sees that her parents tries to cover up their disappointment. full of shame she starts to act controverse to gain her parents and sisters respect. kawailani meets some local misfits at the weekends more and more, who loves wrestling and kawailani decides to becomes a famous wrestler in central usa from now on. hard to believe, she shows talent for the more or less (on hawaii) disliked sport. kawailani has brilliant movement and a fantastic body tension when she has firm ground under her feet. on top she is a joker and a stage hog who knows how to act with the crowd. one year later she leaves her home and travels to new york.

few month later, she gets first contact in her new school with local roller derby girls and is prompt fascinated, she never heard of it before. the girls allowed kawailani to dabble in their hobby and kawailani gives it a try. funny/unbelievable again. she shows even more talent on skates than even in the wrestling arena and first time in her life she feels accepted and being something special in a good way (her family really loves her and misses her painfully, but with a shattered aplomp, she isn´t able to believe that). more and more she gains skills and reputation, her habits and even her style changes dramatically. the formerly sweet styled girl becomes eccentric and in some kind sassy. the rockabilly/nerdy/freaky mixed style she presents every day in perfection becomes famous and her signature feature and her meanwhile usa wide high profile, leads her to washington dc, to her nowadays team: "the kick ass queens" where she recieves her derby name: "the princess".
