2/5/17 Dear journal,
Today I had the most fun iv ever had in a long time. I didn't meet any new kalons but i made a lot more friends of different species! They were Magma foxes and one had a strange tail that looked like a dolphins tail! Her name was kuroumi she was quite nice and is a good swimmer... we went swimming for awhile and ended up seeing who could splash each other the most I won! Hahah it was quite great! I wish everyday I could meet new friendly kalons or other animals... anyways I'm going to keep exploring untill I'm unable to. Tomorrow's the whispering woods!

April 8, 2016
To be honest I didn't enjoy today
that much. My mom took me to
a hair salon to get a trim, which
I was fine with. I quite like haircuts.
My hair always feels really soft
afterwards. So I got my hair cut,
and I was pretty happy with it,
but then the hair dresser asked
me if I'd like to do anything fancy
or special to my hair this time,
like dye it or something. (I think
she was bored of me getting
the same thing every time I
went there). Of course I didn't
want to. I only dye my hair
when you can see the root
colour, and I hate getting my
hair styled by someone else.
If they do something I don't
like to it, I always feel the

need to say I love it. Not to
mention they pull way too
hard and stab pins into my
head. But me, being the
awkward and quiet kalon I
am, I just sat there, hoping
she would forget she asked
the question. That's when
my mom stepped in. "I think
she will this time!" I looked
at my mom with a look that
said Oh my gosh mom why
did you say that. She KNOWS
I hate when others style my
hair. But oh, it was too late
to go back now. My hair dresser
got really excited and started
to tug at my hair in different
directions. I mean, at least
she got the hint to not dye it.

Then I would be mad. I just
kept telling myself It's fine,
it's fine, just let it happen,
just let it happen. Oh boy,
was it hard to let it happen. By
the time she was done, there
were braids and pins all over
my head. I don't even know how
she managed to get that many
braids in my hair. To put it simply,
I hated it. I hated it so much.
I wanted to take it out right then
and there. The hairdresser was
absolutely clueless about how I
felt. As soon as we got out to
the car I took it all out. When it
was finally out, my hair was a
rats nest and there was a pile
of at least, at least, 30 pins.
I hope my mom has learned her lesson.
