Personality: Batalla would have been the perfect mount in war. She is bombproof and doesn't spook at loud sounds like gunshots, and she's very diverse. Meaning she can learn many different disciplines and be good at all of them, she has no specialty. At her barn, the mare is known as a the veteran due to these facts, plus she seems to know what is expected of her and she can execute them perfectly. She takes care of her rider, but is loyal to her owner. Batalla can be a serious horse because she doesn't tend to goof off or play around too much, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have fun. Her fun is more or less being ridden and getting groomed, just simply being with her owner. Which makes her very human-orientated. She also tends to take action if she notices something that goes against her morals, she will speak out about it and protect the victim in any situation. Human and horse applies. She can be a leader, but prefers to stand in the background and observe. This aspect about her tends to draw reserved people towards her and she happily accepts them as her friend. The mare is also very intuitive, and more often than not, she is follows her instinct more than what her thoughts are telling her. Which may lead to why the issue of mates confuse her so much, and why she doesn't understand a horses affection towards to just one single horse in particular. Love confuses her when it's not directed for a human; horses are more complicated for her.
