Personality: Timothy is a sensitive individual; he doesn't like change nor does he care for criticism. A majority of the time he takes things too seriously which leads to him overthinking situations. Whenever he is criticized he dwells too much on it being a personal offense of some sort. This lowers his motivation to share his new interests and endeavors with others. However he is very caring and sweet towards those he is close to. While he has never been one for conflict he will nobly stand up for the victim of any situation despite any bad blood between them. Timothy loathes injustice of any kind, he simply wants the world to be a better place. If a personal problem arises he will ignore it until the last possible second, a source of frustration for his family and friends. He is more than ready to leap at the chance to protect others. Additionally he has issues maintaining a positive image. Though much of his lack of self-care is a result of his insecurities and self-criticisms it can also be blamed on his scatterbrained nature. Often times people must remind him to eat, bathe, hydrate, and do other tasks. Activities deemed unimportant to him [showering, doing laundry, washing dishes, homework assignments, etc] are set on the metaphorical back burner while his true interests consume all of his time. Timothy tends to latch onto a couple of interests for a short time before abandoning them for newer, cooler ones. Though he has his flaws everyone would truthfully call him a dependable person and a hard-worker when he puts his mind to it.

Occupation:As a kit he never had a dream career. All of his friends worked through the stereotypical cycle-- doctor, lawyer, teacher, and more-- but Timothy didn't ever commit himself to one idea. It took years for him to find something he was passionate about but when he did it took over his life instantly. One day he'd stumbled upon an injured cat. It appeared that its paw was injured in some way as the animal was limping and making noises of intense distress. Upon showing the hurt creature to his parents they carted it off to a hospital where Timothy was able to comfort it as the veterinarians extracted a large thorn from its paw. The cat had to be given away as it would be too difficult for them to support it financially but the incident sparked a fire in his heart. He began joining school clubs in addition to volunteering every weekend with animal rights organizations. His Saturdays were filled with cleaning cages, playing with animals for exercise, walking dogs, and helping every pet a loving family. On Sundays he went around posting signs for both lost and found pets that other volunteers fostered until a home was located. Timothy ended up deciding not to down the path of a veterinarian because he found the lifestyle to be too plain. Instead he looked into zookeeping which is where he found his true passion.

Backstory: Timothy was raised in a somewhat lower class home with two loving parents. While they were not poor they sometimes struggled to get by; his parents often skipped lunches so that their son could afford his school supplies, new clothes, and three meals a day. He was an only child but found plenty of comfort with his extended family. For some unknown reason he has always had a large distrust of strangers including his school teachers and peers. He becomes frightened and cries when they attempt to talk to him or touch him in any way. It took years for him to overcome this consuming fear and to handle social interaction outside of the family. As such his social development was somewhat stunted; he became awkward in his earlier years before learning correct mannerisms. Because of his late development he was somewhat of an annoyance to other children and was an outcast. This didn't bother him too much and actually formed a few friendships later in his school career. Despite this he is still closest to his family members than others.
