Yo, I'm cat. Kals tend to call me with several names, a few examples are catfish, cat or kate. You can call me whatever, just don't call me katharina! Like seriously, my mother is the only kal with permission to call me that name, so just... don't. So what'cha wanna know from me, after all this is supposed to be some sort of interview? Well, I guess I'll just start with the basic stuff. So, as I already told you before, my name's cat. I'm 17 years old and I currently live alone in a pretty... well, crappy and small house. I don't really have lot's of cash, ya'know. Anyways, my hobbies are drawing, make-up and gaming. I'm pretty good at gaming, too! I've been doing it since I was a 4 year old kit and - even though mom's not been happy 'bout it - I've always been amazing at ego shooters. Oh, I guess I should mention that I never really got to know my dad as my parents are divorced. I think the last time I saw him was when I was two. My mom and I have a good relationship, don't worry, she's always been my best friend! I won't bother you with that story any further though. So, hobbies was our topic, I also love fishkeeping, like, oh my god I love it so much! If there's one beautifully adorable thing in this world it has to be fish, right? Especially sharks, goldfish and piranhas! Right now I have a pet goldfish, Jaws. Jaws is a tosakin goldfish and I own him for five years now. For me he's like my very own kid *silent squeal*. Uuh... Well, I plan on getting two more fishtanks in which I'll be keeping piranhas and small sharks but I'll have to save up some cash first before I can do that. Hmm, what should I tell you next...? Oh right, my personality! So, if a kal sees me for the first time they'll most likely misjudge me immediately. I mean, what the heck, it's not my fault that I like make-up 'n all that stuff, it's a little unfair to be honest! But from what I heard kals usually think stuff like "Wow, she looks real arrogant" 'n "She seems like everthing her brain can think of is make up". But what they don't know is - guess what: me! I'm actually quite good at school, sorry for braggin' like that but my last ten exams were all graded A! As for my other personality traits, if I'd ask my pals they'd say I'm very talkative, smart, loving and understanding, so I guess I'm pretty much not a bad kal to have a conversation with. What they also said though, is that I am a little different towards people I don't know. Dunno what they mean by that but whatever, I guess. Anyways, enough about me, tell me, how was your day so far?

Sea holiday
"Moooooom!" an excited high-pitched scream wakes up the whole neighbourhood as a small Kalon runs down the stairs to wake up her mother. "Mom, wake up already! Don't tell me you forgot about our trip today!" "Kate, please do me a favor and go back to sleep. Did you even consider taking a look at the time? It's 3 in the morning!" the bigger kalon lets out an annoyed huff as the small one tries again "But mom, doesn't it take really long to pack our cases? My friends told me that they always get up very early if they go on holidays. Well be late if we sleep too long!" The big kalon lets out a wide yawn as she makes an attempt to sit up "Look Kate, what they mean by getting up early is that they get up at around 6am, not in the middle of the night. If you don't get some more sleep you'll be tired on our trip." The small one nervously looks down "But I can't sleep anymore... I haven't slept half the night, actually." "It's normal Kate, you're just excited. After all, this is your first trip to the sea. Since we're up now anyways I guess you can get our cases and we'll pack them." The mother finally gives in "Really?! Cool!" Without taking a look back Kate sprints up the stairs, nearly tumbles and falls, gets the suitcases and runs back down to her still half asleep mother "So, what should I take with me?" The small kalon asks herself "Oh, right!".
After about an hour she finished packing her things "Kate, did you take your whole room with you? Look at your suitcase, it's about to burst!" "Well, if we go to the sea I have to take a swimsuit, boots, a rainjacket and a hat with me, in case it gets cold. I also got a few clothes and a plastic bag to collect shells." Of course her mom knew that that wasn't everything "Katharina, be honest. What else did you take with you?" Now Kate got a little nervous "Well, I might have taken Mr Goldy with me." "And?" "Mrs Shark, Lilo, Mr Manty and Blue..." The mother looked at her, clearly exhausted "Kate, you do know you can't take all of them with you. You barely have room for the important stuff." "But mom, my plushies are important too!" The sad look on her daughters face led the mother to submit once again "Ok, I still have room to get some more of your clothes... Just don't whine if your case gets too heavy!" "Yay, thanks mom, you're the best!" "Yeah, yeah. Now try getting some more sleep. It's 4:30am and we still have time to take a nap." The small kalon didn't have to think twice before she went back to her room.
When they started driving north the next hours it did take them quite a while to reach their destination. The sea was two hours away from their home and Kate - as her mother predicted - fell asleep on the way there. "Kate? Kate, wake up." Kate reluctantly tries to open her eyes, blinded by the bright light of the sun that was shining through the window of their car "What is it? Did something happen?" "Look." The small creature slowly sat up and looked out of the window. She almost couldn't believe what she saw "Mom, is that really it? Is that the ocean?" Now Kate was fully awake and her voice went from croggy to that same loud high-pitched squeal that her mother loved to her every day "Yes, that's it. And over there behind the beach is our holiday house." Kate nearly immediately jumped out of the car as she heard her mother's words "Wow, it's so big!"
A few minutes after their conversation they arrived at their holiday house, put their suitcases inside and immediately went to the beach. Together with her mom Kate collected shells, went snorkling and watched the pretty fish in the nearby Sea Life that they got tickets for. Kate even got a new shark plushy that she named "Great White". One thing is certain: This may have been her first, but it was the best holiday Kate ever had!
