their favorite meal: udon and edamame are elarinya's two
favorite foods, so certainly a dish with udon and edamame
as a side would be her absolute favorite. this is primarily due
to the fact that elarinya is vegan. she's contemporary society's
average hippie whose hobbies include hugging trees and
peacefully protesting. she aspires to save the world, one
bottle at a time! elarinya believes that it would be unjust
to consume animals or animal products in a society that
permits her to do otherwise. thus, she often enjoys consuming
bouts of foliage and leafy greens, though of course udon
and edamame are her absolute favorite, especially due to
the ease with which they can be made and their innately
pure taste. udon reminds her of her mother as well who
spent much of her time making elarinya's favorite dishes
as a child before passing for unknown reasons.
so cute!!!

Their favorite meal -- octopus turnovers!

ru loves the taste and texture of octopus. when thrown together with his favorite veggies and wrapped in a yummy crust pocket, what's not to love? the spicy mayonnaise happens to be an
awesome bonus, too. what helps tie the meal together is a glass of bubbly wine, perfect to wash down the spicy seafood turnover!
(what's really the best, though? seeing the faces people make when he tells them his favorite dish includes
octopus!)

Their favorite meal -- Have you ever heard of the phrase "everything but the kitchen sink"? It means exactly what you think it means-- everything imaginable. And that's what Mekhi's favorite meal is! For some reason, during the winter, his family tended to eat less and less food, and so things starting to spoil-- and fast. Therefore, his family came up with a new winter tradition; the Everything But The Kitchen Sink Feast! Of course, since this feast includes anything they can find to cook up, the menu isn't always exactly the same. It usually always includes seasonal fruits and veggies, microwave burritos, Ramen, chili, cake, weird cookies, fondu, and corn muffins. They don't invite their family over, but Mekhi, his friends, and his parents all cook up everything in the house to have a large feast at the end of the day. The leftovers are usually chilled and eaten throughout the week, and they've found that this usually saves them money on all of the food that they threw away (and it's pretty fun, too!)

Their favorite meal -- Vilkas, coming from a very Norwegian family, has grown up to love lefse. He describes it as a "potato tortilla filled with happiness", and loves to make it as much as he can. He grew up making it every Christmas and birthday with his grandma before she passed to old age, and took on the custom for the rest of his family. He makes it with his nephews and nieces now, and they love it as much as he loves it. He fills his with butter and sugar to make it taste better, but he likes it plain as well. He hopes to one day make his own variation of his grandma's recipe, so when he has children he can pass it on.
