The thing that makes my happiest is when someone is ecstatic over one of my pieces of art. The most frustrating thing is when someone is so vague that I can't tell what they want.

My best quality is my practicality, and my worst is my anti-social tendencies which limit my opportunities.

He is his own most important person. Vincent is the center of his own universe and his friends dispair of his ever finding a mate, his love affair with himself is so strong.

Vincent keeps a tiny bottle with a single ever-fresh flower petal as a pendant on a necklace that he never takes off. It is completely at odds with the image he presents to the world, and he flatly refuses to explain it, going so far as to deny its existence.

A perfect day would entail sleeping until noon (the party last night ran especially late), a delicious, low-fat breakfast (keeping his figure is extremely important), a trip to the spa for grooming, styling, nail and teeth care, with special attention to a deep oil treatment for his shine (an extra sparkly shine is key). By this time, it would be nearing evening and tonight's soiree. He would show up fashionably late, be the absolute life of the party, and collect a massive following to add to his adoring fans. He would arrive home late, with perhaps a particularly beautiful or interesting kalon in tow, and drift off in hazy happiness deep in the center of his massive feather bed.

Vincent has never had the misfortune of encountering a dog. If he did, he would be torn on whether to disdain their slobbery, smelly, messiness or to treasure their unquestioning, adoring friendship.

While he is not a cruel kalon (meanness is not a charming quality), his entire universe revolves around himself. If he were to benefit from helping someone, he would do so gladly and generously (and preferably in full view of a crowd, so they could then praise him).

on their family?

Vincent appears to tolerate his family. He goes home for big holidays and plays nice, but otherwise doesn't make an effort. Secretly, he would be lost without them. They were his first and still are his most loyal "fans".

what would it be?

He secretly harbors a wish concerning the flower petal he carries with him. It is a wish that, most times, he hides even from his own thoughts. His deepest heart carries it like a small, fragile flame, one he wishes he could snuff out.

source of joy? Frustration?

His own beauty and charm, and the praise it brings him. He has cultivated his own personality into something that can almost effortlessly win over even intractable kalons, and he is extremely proud of that. Occasionally he encounters someone he cannot possibly win over, this frustrates him to no end. If he deems them worth the effort (would they add a shining star to his necklace of adoring fans?) he will go to inordinate lengths to gain their esteem.

Vincent prefers flavored, unsweetened vitamin water. A kalon in the spotlight takes care with what enters his body.

The ability to groom himself into what he's become, and the discernment that it needed to happen, those are his best qualities. The inability to rid himself of the last vestiges of the kalon he once was, he finds that weakness to be his worst quality.

about their life what would it be?

It's a toss up between completing the process of making himself into (his own vision of) the perfect kalon, and, deep in his heart, erasing every change he's made and returning to the blank slate, before he convinced himself that an adjustment needed to be made.

How would they
change the world?

If everyone, every last adult, kit and wizened grand-kalon had the leisure time to adore him, he would make it so. He hears stories of places where just scratching out enough to survive takes from before dawn until long after dusk, and he pities those places.

The central secret, the flower petal, is kept even from himself most times. It's unknown if he'll ever find the courage to completely destroy that part of his heart, or, conversely, look at it head-on and admit to himself that he wishes it.

The three items that Jessalynn would take with them onto a desert island would be a book, a box, and a package of safety gear because Jessalynn loves to read, likes to be covered completely when she sleeps, and is definitely one of the most clumsy Kalons anyone will know.

The most important person in Jessalynn's life would be her mom, Alaska! Jessalynn sees Alaska as the best mother and Kalon ever and would love to do anything for her mom. Her father, she's not as willing to follow instructions for, but there's a good reason behind that.

One quirk that Jessalynn has that other Kalons would find odd would be her quest to summon rain. Jessalynn thinks that rain is the calmest thing ever and if something doesn't go her way, she tries to not get too angry and will do a "rain dance" so that the rain falls all around her.

Jessalynn's perfect day would start with a walk through a history museum, happily enjoying life and its dear accomplishments. Later, she would have lunch at a local deli and buy a vegetable sandwich with a cup of fruit juice. She'd later go to a chess class as chess is something Jessalynn has always wanted to learn to play, but can never make enough sense of to do well there. (She doesn't care, however.) Jessalynn would then go home after class and set up a blanket fort, and pick up a book. She would start reading it for a while until she became hungry, in which she would make a cup of tea and eat a cluster of fruits for dinner. She'd later finish reading her book, and likely fall asleep reading it, because Jessalynn would get so involved that she would fall asleep before finishing it. She would be too tired.

Jessalynn absolutely loves dogs! She's not one to spend much time with them, but the few times that she has spent time with dogs ended up in Jessalynn being clumsy and falling. The dogs came up to her and started to lick and tickle her, and Jessalynn was the happiest Kalon alive in those moments. She wants to spend more time with them.
