First Experience: vino's first time making pizza was a "learning experience," to say the least.

the first attempt ended in disaster. the dough wouldn't stick together, the sauce was too soupy, and the cheese had hardened together into a solid block of multi-colored cheese bits. the second attempt was worse; the dough was too sticky, then when baked the dough didn't set quite right and became filled with air bubbles, and the cheese had melted right off the pizza during the cooking process, taking chunks of undercooked dough with it.

at his wit's end, vino had genuinely considered giving up. nothing was going right; why keep trying and just end up wasting more ingredients?

however, vino knew he was being irrational right now. he could do this, he just had to calm down, think rationally, and try to figure out what went wrong. with this mindset, vino once again collected the necessary ingredients and immediately got to work, taking great care to complete each step of the process perfectly.

after hours of hard work, a warm pizza was sitting before him in all its gooey, cheesy glory. it smelled amazing, and he was too excited to try it. however, he had patience.

patience was the key to success, after all. patience was what had helped him create this delicious pizza, too.

Their first time making pizza was.. quite a sight. Chipotle ended up with a face full of dough from a rough toss in the air. She ended up also with burnt crust edges and sauce that got everywhere due to her obsession over the taste of pizza sauce. Chipotle sprinkled a little too much cheese on, causing it to boil of the sides with a ruff cut with the pizza cutter. Chipotle ended up with, well a disaster pizza. But it was her first time so she wasn't gonna give up. Though her " Disaster pizza " was still pretty delicious on it's own. Even though her disaster pizza turned up as a success, Still it was a terrible outcome. So she tried again, adding less cheese and not eating all the sauce for once. Once she got every slathered on that she needed, She popped it in the cooker. It came out perfect, The edges were golden, Te cheese had risen and set, It was soft and had a gooey cheese pull-off when she took a slice. She bit into it and she swears that was the best pizza she ever made.

Tyler stared at the collection of ingredients assembled before him, the looked up at the clock. "Why did I agree to do this?" He groaned, putting his head in his hands. He peeked between his fingers and sighed. Might as well get on with it. He studied the recipe, then poured some hot water into a large bowl, tossing in the yeast, as instructed. Then he pulled out his phone to amuse himself for five minutes. After his timer went of he looked up, reaching for the recipe. But it was gone. He looked down at the ground, then back at the counter, then at the other counters. Nothing. "What on earth? It was just...?" Tyler trailed off, looking at the bowl of foaming yeast water siting on the counter and smacked his forehead. "Idiot. It's under the bowl." He retrieved the recipe and carefully read the next step. "Whisk Sugar, Oil and salt into mixture. Then add flour until a sticky dough forms." Tyler shrugged, adding the required ingredients and whisking. Then he began adding flour, but frowned, "What on earth qualifies as sticky dough?" He wondered, touching the semi solid dough gently. "Not that." He decided, Then shook more flour in, and touched it gently. "There he said, satisfied. He dumped the dough in a bowl and set it aside. And aside it stayed. Tyler remembered the dough a week later, at which point it was disgusting and un-useable.

"Now just roll it flat Piccolo, easy, just one nice flat stroke." Little hands grasped eagerly at the flour-caked rolling pin that Piccolo's mother presented to him. A bit too eagerly if anything, and despite one mother's clucks and attempts to steady her little one's fervor the dough wound up a nice blob of pasty-white which stretched taught in the middle and threatened to snap.

"Mama! I did it wrong, you roll it!" The boy scurried back from the mess he had made, hiding his face behind his mother's long, red skirt, taking comfort in the familiar way it swished against the cold tile floor. The woman gave a low chuckle and even with eyes screwed shut Piccolo could feel her smiling. She dropped down so she was eye to eye with her son.

"How quickly you young ones change your mind. Just yesterday you wanted to toss like me and Papa! Now you won't even roll?" Piccolo dropped his gaze to the tiles. It was true, last night he remembered asking Papa when he would be able to toss the pizza dough into flying suns like the rest of his family did. When his mother had deigned it time to teach him he couldn't have been happier! But now that excitement had fizzled out.

"But I failed!" The little one protested, "I'll never do it right!" Tears threatened to spill from his golden eyes and his voice began to quiver. Not a second later he found himself crushed in a hug.

"Ah Mio, not even the sun crossed the sky on his first day. Took him a whole week to make it past the mountains and another three days to reach the sea."

"R-Really?"

"Yes really. But do you see the sun stumbling and falling now? No. Because he had much practice and the Earth to guide him. And so shall you."

And Piccolo looked into his mother's eyes and, seeing the truth there, began to dry his own. "O-Okay. I guess if the sun could do it..."

"Good, now up up! We have a pizza to re-toss!" She pulled him to his feet giggling in a way that infected them both as they attacked the dough once more. It turned out lumpy, misshapen, and burnt, but you know what? It turned out delicious.

Sekhmet - Egyptian goddess of lions, fire and vengeance.
First Experience:
Sekhmet is, well, not the best of cooks. She likes to experiment with recipes, and… She is yet to make something remotely edible! The first time Sekhmet made pizza… I suppose you could say it wasn’t particularly successful. She usually just makes things up as she goes along, but this time, she was determined to follow the recipe exactly. She picked the first pizza recipe that came up on google, which in hindsight, probably wasn’t the best idea, and after spending a good three hours searching for the “Vegan bacon strips,” and realising she’d read the recipe wrong, she finally got to work.

Sekhmet decided to be brave, or perhaps just stupid, and make her own pizza dough… Well, it was safe to say that didn’t go well! She got to the stage of rolling it out, before realising she had added 4 cups of water, instead of 3/4 of a cup, so was met by a sloppy, gooey mass that did nothing other than sprawl out slowly on the counter in front of her, instead of the “bouncy, tan coloured ball,” that was described in the recipe. Giving up with that idea, she found some pre-made pizza dough and managed to roll that out to fit the pizza pan, having to patch it up a fair few times, but what did that matter?! It made it look “rustic” and “homemade,” not “badly done” or “patchy” like her friends described!

Now for toppings! Sekhmet had settled on chicken and bacon, opting out of the rather strange toppings this site had suggested… Anchovy and salmon, or spinach and chilli, not really her style. She grabbed her bottle of tomato topping, deciding against trying to make her own, having flashbacks to the memories of her tomato soup… all over the ceiling… never again. Just the thought makes her wince. Surprisingly she managed to smooth a {somewhat lumpy} layer of sauce over the dough, success! She added some chicken and bacon here and there, deciding against a pattern and just throwing it at the dough and hoping for the best. Now, cooking! She put the pizza into the oven and left it for a while… Before realising the oven wasn’t on! Disaster! So quickly, Sekhmet turned the oven up to full power, before leaving it… And forgetting. Hours later, Sekhmet was met with charred black matter, and an incredibly smokey kitchen!{400/400}
