Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. All of our animals are special and deserve a chance to be happy with an owner that will care for them. The question is: are you ready to love them?

This lovely girl comes from a very peaceful and loving background and was dropped of at the shelter because her previous owner passed away. She seems so be slightly shaken by the recent events and has been clinging to humans and other dogs. Hopefully she finds a new home soon.

when Maggie was a pup she did not like her family so she ran of in to this forest where some other dogs that have been left to die from there owners so they grouped up and made a clan.She was there until she was a teen pup, she did not go back to that forest.She was walking down the street found a home with her owner.her owner was shopping in the winter and found her sat there in the cold so she taken her home to warm her up and called her Maggie.
When she met max and luna they did not know who she was so they did not talk to her. then she was sat out in the sun she met max and then Luna.The owners of max and Luna are a friend of Maggie owner.

Personality: Shiba is a very hyper dog, she is always running around and playing. She loves running with her owner, trying to race them. If she doesn't win a race, she simply grabs her leash and tries again. She is a bottomless pit, so she can never get enough food! She is very well trained, and loves other dogs. She doesn't chase cats, which is a relief for everyone. She is very friendly, she wont hurt a fly! She loves babies, and she always has the need to protect a baby, puppy or human, if it is around her. She is scared of thunderstorms, but she loves water. She is a great swimmer!
