Second Chance Shelter is a dog and cat rescue where you can come to find a new member of your family. We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. This Bedlington Terrier is a bit of a grump.. He doesn't play with the other dogs at all and we haven't yet figured out why not. Maybe you can help us?

Why doesn't he play with other dogs?: his last owner lived on a florida beach. He was happy and excited like other dogs, but as he kept running around in the beach sand, and that stuff is unbearable when it gets in your fur and rubs against your skin. He'll loosen up when he gets a shower C:

Why doesn't he play with other dogs?:
He has no interest in playing, he can sit in a kennel or a room quietly with other dogs that he knows but if you go out for a walk or a dog wants to play he get overworked and barks. He can be a sweetheart though and people can't help but pet his floofy little head.


(We have a Bedlington in the Kennels at college and he barks and barks and barks...but he is so fluffy that you can't help but love him)
