I had been having this internal struggle the moment I posted this egg — I wanted to hatch it a day early, but by the end of the day, I decided to wait like the patient person I sometimes am.... Then why the heckie did I hatch it a day early anyway!?

Ehh... this is why. I may or may not be evacuating, my mom hasn't decided whether she thinks it's safer where I am or where she's at, so I have no idea what's going on. All I know is that power outages are imminent wherever I go, and I don't know how long those will last. Just in case I can't get to it tomorrow, I have gone ahead and hatched this darling baby early.

I truly hope you love it as much as I do. I'm seriously cryin' over this babe, I swear. I also swear that the adult looks 100x better than the juvenile, and I am SO stoked for you to see it, you don't even know. I do want to apologise for not rolling those precious wings — now that would have been something magical.
