Lemon may be a sassy tomboy but she loves to bake sweets! She often makes them just for herself and her
family/friends. But she often gets easily distracted by other things such as the phone ringing or seeing the
messy dishes in the sink and will often forget about the sweets in the oven and sometimes the food suffers
greatly because of this. she's lost three cakes and one batch of muffins thank to this she tries to keep her
cool when this happens but wouldn't you get upset if your best friends cake looks like a huge black hockey punk
that not even the birds would eat? Which is sad cause she really is a good cook.
Her friends even got her a timer but that doesn't always work but she's getting better at remembering but slowly
getting better but those poor cookies..

It's been a long time, almost a year. Since someone she loved dearly was taken from her side. The sky still seems dim and her heart still hurts. Most of the time things seem okay, not great just okay.

T-there's nothing to forget.. What are you talking about..? Gah- fine. The thing i'd like to forget is the time my boyfriend casted me off to the side, and told me I wasn't worth his time. He had dumped me for another. For all I knew he was snitching to his new girlfriend about me behind my back, which made my heart crack and break more. I had been hurt too many times for that to happen to me, not again. But it did. My heart was shattered once more, as it had been over and over again, almost like it was stepped on. I'm just ones doormat, some say. What's so wrong with me? Why can't I forget it all?

There are many distant memories of the past that she would rather forget. They bubble back up to the surface and she can see them again, as clear as day. They tear at Kabira's mind, reopening old wounds that haven't even healed over. She wouldn't let them. Surely if she forgot how it felt, she would forget that it's what drives her? Her most crushing memory was when her mentor was taken from her.

Kabira was always the meek one when she was younger, the smallest fry in the line up. She was picked on for her droopy cream and her tiny stature, yet she didn't try to stop them since she knew that it was futile. However, one day a graceful pink deersert aided Kabira and took her under her wing. They were some of Kabira's brightest memories. She remembered the pink deerssert's lovely smiles when they went out adventuring. Or how the deer was absolutely infatuated by humans, with their interesting layers they call clothes and the shiny baubles they carried with them.

In the end, that's what led to her down fall. They were out adventuring when the pink deerssert spotted one of their baubles on the ground. A metal trap that looked like bear teeth clamped on to her leg and wouldn't let go. Kabira ran back to town to get help, but it was too late, when the other deersserts arrived to help and the only thing left behind was a pink diamond.

This must have inspired a change within Kabira. Her whipped cream tail was no longer droopy, it crystallized, not a swirl seemed out of place. It seemed her heart reflected in her appearance, it was frosty and cold. An image others followed and looked up towards. Kabira grew and towered over others in both size and demeanor. She was tired of being pushed around so she learned there is no use in sitting around and being blue.

With such piercing, angry yellow eyes and a scowl so pronounced that by now you'd think it would be permanently engraved on her face, it appears this deerssert won't be letting go of any grudges any time soon. The first words other deersserts would use to describe her would certainly not fall along the lines of idealistic, but oddly enough... she is. She longs for her childhood, a past where everything was different, as it was before, before anyone expected anything of her, before she became the rigid, unfeeling monster she believes herself to be today. Now is different, somehow, from back then, when she could stretch her face towards the sun and feel the warmth of its rays for what they were, without worry. But the change was gradual: a growing annoyance with life's endless barrage of mundane tasks here, a sudden realization at the absurdity of existence there. She can't seem to put her hoof on where it happened exactly... ... ... Ah, there she is again, overthinking things like this. She sighs, lifts her head, looking, drearily into the distance, the rolling green hills and the sunlight dancing upon them seeming almost grey and lifeless to her now. She sighs and wishes she could wake up one day without any memory of herself, and wander off to start anew. [220 words]
