Anyways, I promised dave that I'd do this one for them.

This babe was picked up off the street. They had been roaming in a subdivision and the homeowners didn't like that they were getting into trash and riling up neighborhood dogs. One of them called us and we went over to pick them up. They were a little hostile at first but after we gave them time to cool down and adjust they seemed more tolerant of our company.

For this one's comp tell me why they were distrustful of humans.

His sister and him ran through out the streets, for years. His sister, lets call her Fiona, Fiona was picked up off the streets and adopted. Moses continued on the streets. Fighting other dogs for food and running from abusing humans. He hadn't even seen his mother until they had arrested her old master, but she had been dead for months. Moses hate just keep getting worst. He was then caught and taken into help. He still needs it a little, but not that much now.

Mace was the result of a puppy breeding mill, and sent to a very unqualified pet shop to be sold. The shop was filled with too small cages piled on top of each other, and they each held two or even three animals. As if his situation couldn't get any worse, Mace was eventually bought by a family to satisfy the need of their young children's want for a dog. The children were very irresponsible and did not know how to properly care for a pet. They poked and prodded Mace in uncomfortable ways and all around didn't treat him very nicely. Within a month or so the children got bored of him and their parents were too busy to spend any sort of time with him. On one of his outings in the backyard after he had been forgotten for hours on end, Mace decided to run away, Ever since then, Mace had been a stray out on the streets scrounging through garbage cans for food and avoiding dog catchers in favor of his life out on the streets away from humans. After all, how was he to know that humans were capable of showing any affection after all he had been through?

Once he was found, he was able to bond to a single person
who could keep him calm. Ajax then became a very loyal dog,
willing to protect his owner with his life. He then eventually learned
how to be friendly to all strangers.
