How he got his wings:
He was originally ice powered, however...
When he was younger, he had lost his parents and so he had to travel with his sisters around the earth. Fought many, protected his precious family and grew to be famous for his loyalty. On the way he, Gained and lost many friends.
Kisame grew to be loved by his sisters and lover, but jealously radiated from the water.
The Goddess of Streams had fallen for this brave warrior.
But he had not fallen for her traps.
No matter what she did.
So she took his sisters away, but it wouldn't turn him to her- not even a glance.
Eventually his friends avoided him- worried that they might disappear or drown- not wanting to face the wrath of the water.

Then it came to a day where Kisame grew lonely. Tired of it all, he sat by the stream.
'Must you take it all?'

The Goddess felt not guilt or remorse- infact she cursed him. She gave up on Kisame, but gave him features to make him seem like a monster. To be forever alone.
