What are Khimaira Friesians?
Khimaira Friesians are a "normal" friesian breed with all characteristics of a friesian and a average height from 15 to 17 hands, but even 18 hands can occur. The first born Khimaira was mistaked for a chimera horse. But a genetic test showed otherwise, there wasn't a second DNA but a complete new and unknown gen. Because this gen makes the friesian look like a chimera it was named khimaira. khimaira doesn't produce a complete new dna coat and therefor it can only lighten or darken the base coat of the horse. Till now only the paint khimaira is known that makes the khimaira coloration looks like tobiano, overo, sabino or splash. But we believe that there will be more khimaira variations out there and we still try to breed them. Appaloosas are not known till now, but we have some great friesian mixed horses with appaloosa patterns, so we are sure to deliver them to you in a short amount of time.

My first adopt! I wanted a winter theme because I love cold weather. To get him, draw a picture of him in the snow and write a nice story about how he spends the winter. The story can be as long or short as you like. The picture can be a re-color as long as you have permission from the artist of the lines (be sure to note that it is a recolor!). Also please note whether or not the winner of the Adopt may use the pictures for themselves or if you would rather not.

Story:Jack enjoys pulling pranks on other horses and people by knocking snow off trees and other objects onto them. He sneaks up as quietly as he can and kicks the object to knock the snow down, then laughs and whines as he runs away. Things don't always go as planned though. On the rare occasion he will be the one covered in snow, standing there confused as his would be target laughs at him instead.

    Story: Aubin loves to steal the carrots from the snowmen that the children build around the yard.

Everytime it snows the children build snowmen and everytime with out fail the carrot noses go missing, for sometime the children made up rumors and stories to explain the disappearances.
A few of the adults however had suspicions about a few of the horses, the main suspect was Aubin. A stunning stallion who lived at the yard and so decided to set a trap to catch him.

One particular snowy evening Aubin had once again unlocked the stable door and was making his way down the isle knowing that the children would have build several snowmen.
When Aubin had made his way outside into the cool crisp air he looked around.
His eyes light up in exitment and he broke into a trot as he approached the first snowman, but something was different.
Aubin stopped just in time as he realised that the snowman did not have a carrot nose but a celery nose! Now most horses in the barn woud enjoy a bit of celery but Aubin was not a fan.
He looked at the other snowmen...they all had celery noses!
What was he going to do now?
The snow started crunching and in the dim light a shadow approached him, it was his human. She laughed at his failed carrot stealing mission and walked him back to his stall. This time padlocking him in.
Aubin slunk to the back of the stall watching his human through his thick fringe.
"Oh Aubin" she said producing a carrot and holding it out for him.

After Aubin was identified as the "mysterious snowman nose theif", he always found himself padlocked in his stall at night but every evening when his human brought him in he was always presented with a carrot.

Story: Silence, only the steady sound of crushing snow to hear. Everything sleeps, just one is still wandering around, having fun on his own. Hooves squishing the snow, prancing all around like a dance always going on. Stars sparkling high in the sky, down here a colt having fun. The snow getting scattered everywhere, neighs as loud as lighning crackling down. No cold will be felt, no sicknees needed to be cured, just the young Khim on his own in the quietness alone. Forever it will go on, none can tell him no, no matter what they'll say, he'll go on.
Then a sound, he sharply turns around. Familar faces standing there, his buddy going, "Oh dear, the snow is flying everywhere.". A chuckle escaping his mouth, chilly air filling his lungs. Another friend watching from afar, the gentle smile never disappears. "Come on, join me then you won't regret!" Yule whined, his buddy unable to decline a challenge, swishing snow into his face. Stunned for a second, but taking up the game, the colt took revenge.
Personality:
Yule is a rather quiet and shy Khim, yet you can catch him humming and bouncing around if he wants too. He doesn't like to be crowded and prefers the simple things in life. Once trusted, the equine is very friendly and a collected stallion that doesn't like all the trouble around him, but rather watch from afar. He loves to play in the snow and just having a good time with friends. Yule loves sweet and cute things and is a loyal friend.
