What they love most about the snow (300 word limit);;
The fact that if you place coke-a-cola outside in it IT STAYS COLD!!! ITS SO COOL! *pun intended* but on a more serious note she loves the snow for its beauty. She feels very at peace in snow and would rather sleep outside than inside. Infact that's what's she does! Everytime it snows and then freezes over night the next day the snow is the perfect consistency and packs together very well. Although not having the right supplies to make a igloo she grabs her sled and fills it with snow from atop her hill behind her house. She then rides the snow filled sled down her hill and in front of her home slowly creates a large mound of packet snow. Taking many trips up and down her hill until it's at least large enough for her to crawl in and lay down. She then spends time digging in the mound until it is hollow inside. The largest igloo she has made had two good sized rooms big enough for her to stand/slouch in the first room had a snow chair and shelves and small island with a sink of sorts. She then brought out blankets and a small TV and a bucket of water to put in the sink and food and spices to put on her shelf. She loves the snow. *and her cola!* she has also in her spare time made some adorable snow creations. One time she made a snow horse! Another time a snow mermaid!

[The Worst Username]

In the summer, the streets are packed with cars, swarming with tourists, and boiling with heat, heat, heat. I’ll be trying to get to the library, but the streets will be swimming with throngs of people that move around like molecules, all bumping into each other and never caring that the others want to get places too. Every little corner of the city is full of pedestrians. You can’t escape them, ‘least when it’s summer.

However, that all changes in the winter. If you’ve ever lived here, in Chicago, you’ll know that we likely have the worst winters of anyone in the States. There’s freezing, sideways rain; there’s no snow on Christmas; it takes months of freezing, unpredictable cold for spring to come.

Everyone here complains about the weather. But I love it. I’ve always loved winters here, because as terrible as they are, they really make you appreciate the days when it snows.

Whenever it snows, I notice immediately as the soft crystals dance their way to the ground, graceful all the way down to the sidewalk and the street. I’ll get up at five, maybe six in the morning at the latest—it almost always snows overnight—and I’ll fling my lengthy scarf around my neck. I’ll snag my earmuffs, write a letter to my mother and stepfather so they don’t panic when they wake up and I’m gone. Then, I’ll cast one last gleeful look out the window before throwing open the door, snatching my keys off the hook, and racing down five sets of stairs to the lobby of our apartment building.

I’ll go outside and feel the snow on my feet. I’ll smile, walking quickly, watching the world sleep as I, perfectly disguised in my white coat, take an uninterrupted walk through the snowy streets.

Cece doesn't just like snow, she loves it. Being born in a igloo in the north pole, she was raised around it her whole life. Her little sister and her would often go outside and played in it. Obviously being faster than her younger sister, Cece would build a den as quickly as she could and bury herself in it, waiting to jump out and scare her. Cece wouldn't have been able to enjoy those moments in life with her younger sister if it hadn't been for the snow being soft enough to build a small den. It's why she loves snow as much as she does.

Nieve loves the snow for a personal reason. When Nieve was little, she used to play with her family in the snow, but especially with her mother. Her mother sadly passed when Nieve was in her teens, and so Nieve misses her dearly. But when it snows, Nieve remembers her beloved mother, and she feels like she is standing beside her, comforting her. Nieve feels whole when it snows.
