2017 is my year. It's the year I'm going to thrive and shine and show the world I'm the boss of my life. No more hiding away in the corner watching everything pass me by. It's the year for me to get up every morning with a purpose. I'm not one to make New Year's Resolutions, but this is my year. I've got a feeling that I've never had at the start of any year - this is the one that I will remember forever after.
My resolution for this year is to get into shape. To purposefully put myself into situations where I have to do physical activity. Make myself go outside more often than just going to class or walking to the car. Run. Be active. I want to be happier with my body, and I want to feel as good as I know I'll look!

Personality: This young mare knows her stuff. She is loud and proud and does what she wants, though this has caused some problems with trying to train her at times. Although, she does like learning new things, especially when she is in the arena or out and about. Frelsi is like a sponge, she soaks up information like a young filly. Fresli is quick witted and too smart for her own good.

What is your New Year's resolution?: My New Year's resolution is to work even harder at getting to run 6 miles again. Because after my knee surgery about a year or so ago, I just haven't been able to run the same and sometimes I forget how to move my legs properly. It doesn't help that along the way of my recovery I got phenomena, and that put me back even farther. I've even gained about 10 pounds, which is a lot to me because I have been about the same weight for many years before surgery. Though, I am very happy they replaced my ACL, because now my knee no longer gives out and I can run again. And I love to run, it makes me so happy when I run and I don't know a life without running.

What is your New Year's resolution?: To grow as a person. To be braver, to try new things, to learn and experience. Most of my life has been sheltered, living within the lines of my own comfort. I've never dared to try anything new, not until this past month. And in just the short month I've started taking myself out of my comfort zone I've done so much. I've gotten a taste of this... freedom from my own anxiety and I can only hope my 2017 year is just as amazing.

What is your New Year's resolution?:
With a new baby due any day now i never really put much thought into my new years resolution. Being a first time mom, the struggles of my pregnancy have really put me down emotionally and physically this past year. I had become very sick in my first trimester, resulting in a major weight loss to the point it made me look anemic, and loseing almost all my muscle in the process . It was hard to look at what was happening with my body or to even think about what was going on with me but ive slowly made my way back up, now with more tummy than anything. I felt hopeless a lot of the time, undesirable, troubled and thought that my child was just a burden and everyday i would beat myself up about it but with great support from my family I managed to dig myself out of this hole I had created and thinking about it, I could have never of asked for something more magical and special to happen to me than my baby boy <3

So for my new years resolution, I strive to just plain thrive. Thrive at being the best mom I can be for my child, thrive to work my body back up to its full potential and thrive to just be happy with everything I am and will be with this new year!!!
