What Silvan loves about snow is... the color. White, a color of purity, clarity, and a symbol of serenity. Snow covers the landscape and creates a serene world, that is perfectly, clearly white. Without a stain, the pale snow is easy on his eyes.
When Silvan goes for walks in the yard after a snow, he feels at absolute peace amidst the pure white snow. In the winter, the world is usually silent and still. He can contemplate and reflect without interruption. The snow is a blank canvas for his thoughts..

The way it settles on the world, light and gentle, always reminds North of his family home. The arching snow drifts, the dancing snow blanketed tree branches, the playful snowmen seeming to wave as you passed, or the occasional snowflake fluttering to land on the tip of your outstretched tongue. Even the draping icicles reflecting the gentle light of the retreating sun. They all remind him of the joy and warmth from the home he was raised in. He was raised in the snowy mountains, peering down upon the fresh new world, and scampering out to catch the snowflakes with his tongue. The littlest flake throws him into a daydream; remembering all the time in the world he had to spend time in the snow with his family. If he could, North would keep his memories trapped within the small crystallized forms, and would keep them for eternity. Whenever it snows, North Wind will stand watch, almost as frozen as the icicles that twist and twirl off roofs and tree branches. His gaze will never leave the fluttering and flickering shapes, never wanting to waste the time he could be remembering. North's reason he loves snow, is because it reminds him of his home, where the snow was to your chest, and the icicles could touch the ground. Snow was constantly swirling at your feet, batting at your fur. And every last minute there, North loved. So, every time he sees a snowman or a snow drift, or even the tiniest flake, he will think back to the time he was able to spend time outside.

aster loves how when you wake up and look out the window, all of the building, cars, trees, and anything else outside is covered with the white, powdery snow. he often loves to watch it fall down from the clouds, and onto the world around him.

what they love most about the snow (300 word limit);; Mira loves to build snow forts and have snowball fights with her friends and enemies. She has quite the throwing arm and great aim almost never missing a target. You learn to fear her hard and accurate throws over time meaning she is constantly searching for new friends to play with but it gets harder every year. When she isn't covering her friends in snow she is building snow forts with them. She always enters to local contest for building them and has only won second place before due to her almost always accidentally knocking it over.
