What is this tolt's favorite thing about the holiday season? The weather. Dakota absolutely loves winter weather, watching the snow fall down as riders race to the pasture to grab their horses in below freezing temperatures. Dakota's favorite is always the snow and cold, catching snowflakes on their tongue, wearing heavy blankets outside, coming inside at night to warm up in their stall. They especially love being the first one out of the barn, looking at the pristine piles of snow, being the first one to crash through drifts and stand up to their knees in the white powder.

She just loves to roll around in snow. She loves how soft and pillowy it is and just can't help herself. Also good luck getting her inside while it's snowing!

She loves the joy and spirit everyone shares
during these times of the year. Every year she gets to
participate in the Christmas parade, where she is
dressed up and spreads laughter to young children. It all is
like an addictive contagious drug, because once the children
are having fun..so are the parents. Any worries a person may have
are forgotten in the moment of cheer. Those are the moments in life
that this little mare lives for.

Definitely the snow. Gentle snow carpeting the land as the cold wind blows through his mane really makes him happy. The cold never bothered him anyway. Even though the snow can get very deep, at times up to his knee, it's quite humourous to see dogs still bounding in the snow. The dogs would jump and disappear under the blanket of snow or make a trail as they walk through it.
