her name may mean "to be tamed", but domitille is anything but. this wild child
loves anything that involves action and adventure, and can often be found
getting into scraps with her siblings or the children of the kingdom. she's rather
headstrong and it's difficult to change her mind, but she won't throw a fit if she
doesn't get her way. she's used to it after all; she lives in the shadow of her
eldest brother, ahuizotl.
she wants desperately to become a knight of the kingdom, but her dream is
often shot down because it is considered 'unbecoming of a lady'. these things
won't dampen her determination, though, and she works hard every day learning
to fight and defend. she was gifted her own sword by leo, much to mama mai's
dismay, and although she promised to only practice fencing with it (a lady must
be versatile in many arts, after all), she can often be found slicing up wooden
dummies she has constructed.

mama mia:
she's been raised well by her mother, but that doesn't really mean that the two
get along. they have very contradicting personalities, and butt heads more often
than not. mama mia doesn't agree with any of domitille's interests, and domitille
doesn't appreciate the lack of attention her mother gives her.
there is one good thing to come out of all of this. the drive to prove her mother
wrong at every turn has made domitille quite the respected princess. she's known
for getting things done and complaining very little, and this is in fact the one thing
that mama mia is somewhat proud of. domitille has hidden her sword from her
mother, though mama mia does know that she owns it.
leo:
domitille is closest to leo, though they don't talk often. with leo being a little
bit of a pushover, domitille is always afraid that she'll make leo hate her if she
asks for too many things. he'll always get them for her, but then she'll feel bad
afterwards, so it's not really worth it to her.
when they do talk, domitille is very open with her father. he long ago promised
not to pass on any information to mama mia, so domitille often confides in leo
about the struggles and arguments she and her mother have. leo often acts as
the calming force, getting domitille out of an angry headspace after a fight
with mama mia.
ahuizotl:
having lived in ahuizotl's shadow all of her life, it's fair to say that the two don't
get along. they don't necessarily fight, (though if they did, domitille would win,
hands down), but domitille will often storm off when a decision is made in
ahuizotl's favour. this happens all the time, of course, with ahuizotl being the
heir to the throne.
domitille often plays with ahuizotl's cry-baby nature. she likes to do things that
upset him just to feel some retribution. ahuizotl will always go running to mama
mia, and in turn their mother will lecture domitille about leaving her brother
alone. but it's all worth it for domitille.

what would they do if they had to rule?:
domitille would love to rule, if only to see the look on ahuizotl's face when he is
denied the position. she'd rule fairly but with an iron fist. punishments would be
given swiftly and would likely be harsh, but each and every person would have a
fair trial.
domitille would be a warrior queen. she'd always be at the front of her army,
sword in hand and screaming the war cry. it would panic the knights, of course,
since she'd be the first to throw herself into the heart of the battle, and they'd
be scrambling to defend her.
a lot of rules inside the palace would probably be removed. freedom is very
important to domitille, and she wouldn't want to squash anyone's dreams by having
a rule in place that stops them from moving forward. she'd be close with the
servants and even closer to the knights, training with them every day and helping
to train their children.
the kingdom's borders would be largely expanded by all of the conquests domitille
would lead. her official title would probably be "domitille the conqueror" or
something similar, and it would fit her well. she would rule the newly taken lands
just as fairly as her main kingdom, and would gain many allies and even more
enemies.
speaking of the many enemies domitille would most definitely gain, for the most
part, she would ignore them. the power of being the queen would go a little bit to
her head, and to her, these enemies just wouldn't be worth the time. it would lead
to a lot of small battles over petty issues, but domitille would do her best to always
come out on top.
in conclusion, domitille would be a fair, powerful, yet reckless leader, driving her
kingdom into an age of economical success while gaining many powerful and
dangerous enemies.

mama mia; alice's mother. alice desperately tries to impress her, even if alice doesn't necessarily like her. who would? alice's mother spends far too much time with her older brother. alice, being the eldest of her litter, thinks she deserves a bit of attention as well. alice savors the memories of when her mother spoke to her kindly, instead of demandingly. all in all, the relationship is a work in progress on both parts.

leo; alice's father. alice looks up to her father, just as she does her mother. alice doesn't understand how leo stands to be married to mama mia. alice loves her father very dearly, and finds inspiration from him. alice finds her father is the only one she can talk to. alice goes to bed at night with a kiss on the cheek from her father, and a small wave from her mother.

Ahuizotl; alice's older brother. just looking at him makes her bubble with anger and jealousy. alice finds it unfair he gets to be treated like the center of the universe. they don't have the best history together; alice once caused his arm to break. whenever it's brought up, she just lights up with triumph. alice used to look up to him; she used to think he could be a good ruler, but all she sees in him now-a-days is a disaster waiting to happen.

what would they do if they had to rule?; alice would finally prove to her mother she was the right fit. she'd proudly wear the crown, especially puffing out her chest around her older brother. she'd be an acceptable leader, keeping her kingdom in order. she wouldn't be the most tolerant, taking after her mother. if there was a problem, she'd do anything to stop it. you'd think she'd be doing this so that her kingdom would be happy, but she's actually do it to prove to her mother she was good enough. punishments would be given with no mercy, and rules would be demanded more heavily. she'd walk proudly, sneering at her older brother. the borders would be guarded with the top soldiers. the kingdom would grow, devouring more and more land, becoming a more fit territory. the education system would be enhanced, teachers earning the correct amount of money. she'd make sure her litter-mates had the correct health, care, and mates. wip
