Hey everyone ! Stephen here with another blog. I've noticed a bunch of questions about my recent adventure to the pigeon coop, and I've decided to answer the questions for you! What kind of Biologist would I be if I didnt?

Let's start off with what are pigeons? Most know that pigeons are indeed birds. They live anywhere, but you can most commonly see them living in big cities, where there is much food. Pigeons eat almost anything; from worms to french fries! Pigeons are very intelligent, and most of the time know what to eat and what not too; unless of course its stuck in a wrapper. On the left you can see an image of me feeding the pigeons!

Secondly, what do pigeons feed their young, and what are pigeons main enemy? Well, Pigeons are very good parents! They exceed in feeding their young, because they don't exactly take french fries or worms to their young. Instead, the pigeons feed their young milk! Yes, you heard me right. Milk! Pigeons can produce milk to feed their young. Don't believe me? Search it up! Now, I know all you lovely followers are interested in pigeons enemies; they have many in the big city, but their main enemy is one of their fellow birds. This bird is a bird of prey, and we call it the Peregrine Falcon. These birds are the fastest birds to ever live, reaching amazing speeds of 390 km/h as an adult. These fast birds are always after pigeons. How do the pigeons fend off these birds? Well, by flying of course! The Peregrine Falcon can only fly that fast when diving, fly wise, they tire easily. The pigeons can outfly it if they have enough energy. On the right, you can see an image of me holding a Peregrine Falcon!

Thirdly, how do pigeons know were home is? Now, this article is mainly on wild pigeons, but what about homing pigeons? Homing pigeons use this special skill called Homing Instinct. They use this special skill to find their way back home when they are lost. Lets say you are a pigeon out in the world, getting a letter from one person to the next. When you reach your destination, how on earth are you supposed to get back home? Well, you use your homing instinct, of course! As a pigeon, you are very smart, so you know what to do! Pigeons are very fascinating. On the left you will see me with some homing pigeons!

Aye there!
Welcome to the first post of my new blog!

Wow, I can already feel how awkward this is gonna be . . .
It’s ok! Hold on, gimme a sec . . .
There we go! Here, listen to this while you read!

I’m new to this world of blogs/vlogs and stuff like that, but what I do have some experience in is writing―even if I may not be so good at it―I’m not going to be giving up so easily. So, I had an idea to start this blog. Family and friends have told me that most of my ‘creative writing’ isn’t very creative (not gonna lie) and often my writing appears stiff or unimaginative. I’d really like for that to change and I hope this blog can help bring that unique creative side out of me! I’m sure I have it in me somewhere, I just have to coax it out somehow!



To start off, maybe I should introduce myself in a “creative” way yah know?
How ‘bout a poem? It’ll be a haiku since I love the fact that these poems mostly always evoke images of the natural world.

. . . Come on, it’s not that good. I don’t even think I did it right to be honest. I done messed up right there. I’m not the best with poems . . . YET! You’ll see!

Maybe this blog will show my progress as each of my new posts come out! I sure hope you guys think I’ll progress. If not, it’ll just be one sad timeline of downward-spiraling regression of your pal T here. *wipes away a single tear*

Uhh. What do I put here? I’m determined to make this a memorable first post! But, all that’s in my mind right now is that I hope everyone’s caught sight of my clever blog name since I do karate and I love tea. Don’t judge me . . .
Althooouugh, I’ve already ruined haikus for anyone who’s reading this so there goes that . . .

Ok, WHAT AM I SAYING?! I know I’ve been goofy, but right now I want to get serious. Don’t you dare put yourself in a mindset in which you’re bringing yourself down.

Fly instead.



(You know, it’s ok to push yourself just so that you’re at the edge of the cliff to challenge yourself, but you should never push yourself so far that you actually fall down that deadly drop.)



I’ve been through a lot and I don’t want anyone to go through what I did. So learn to know when enough is enough. Challenge yourself and see if you can take on your fears. Take a breath, meditate your decisions, then go for it. You’ll win for sure. 100% go!

Hello everybody! Its me; ~Styliest-In-Session~ and today we will be learning about some hair tips and tricks! Now first we will start with some simple tips. I have about 3 to talk about today! If anything is too confusing, please click on the video above tips. There I will be going through the tips in more details. :

Tips

Tip #1:
I was surprised about how many people didn't know about this simple trick. If you are using a blow dryer daily, be careful! This can over dry your hair if you do this a lot. Instead, try wrapping your hair tightly in and towel and then put it over your shoulder.

Tip #2:
Many people get damaged hair in the night from tossing and turning. To prevent this possible problem is to buy some silks pillows! Though it sounds expensive and boring at first, this could really prevent damage to your hair, especially if you have longer or thicker hair. And you don't always have to buy the whole silk pillow. It was a fun diy to pull out some silk scraps I had and sew them on to the side of the pillow that I use. It saves time and money!

Tip #3:
A funny little trick is to use beer to strengthen your tips! "Mix a half liter of beer with lukewarm water. Pour it into a spray bottle and spritz dry hair. Leave it on for 20 minutes, then rinse." You can do this every week to leave your roots extra strong with an bonus glossy look.

Tricks

Trick #1:
Gum stuck in your hair? Before you try chopping everything off, grab some peanut butter! Put the peanut butter all around the gum and slowly work it out of your hair. The peanut butter will just wash out later

Trick #2:
Do you have a lot of static in your hair? Try using dryer sheets/ towels! Many people use and use the same wet towel over and over again. At the end of drying your hair, take the dry towel and pull your hair through it from the top to the bottom. If this doesnt work try checking your other products you use that could possibly be wet. Have you checked your hair ties, your brushes, or your combs?

Trick #3:
Do you have dry and gross hair from chlorine? Right afterwards, try wetting your hair completely in the shower and then covering it fully in conditioner. Let it rest for a several minutes before washing all the conditioner out. Cant do this trick right afterwards? There are many stores that should sell products then you can spray on your hair before going swimmer. This should slow down the procces of the damaging chlorine!
