x☃Favorite Winter Haunt (Where do they like to go when the weather gets chilly? A simple coffee shop, or a
bustling skating rink? No word limit, but I'll value a quality answer that's fairly concise over a long winded explanation! I'll make an
exception for stories though<3 )
xShutting the door, Vedran looked out the window watching a few figures disappear. He looked at to where the
ground should be, but saw only a smooth white blanket where the snow hadn't been disturbed. It had stopped
snowing at some point last night. Vedran thought of the recently leaving neighbors with a small smile on his face.
They had invited him to spend the day with them, which included a coffee shop and a skating rink. While it might
have been fun, Vedran could only imagine the possible injuries at a crowded rink and the thought of coffee made
him a bit nauseous. He already had plans for the day anyways, and thus thanked them while politely declining.
xA small, uncontrollable yawn escaped, but Vedran still beamed with excitement as he thought of his plans. It was
something a small group of he and his friends did every year. To him, and apparently to his friends as well, it was
perfect. Vedran moved away from the window, making his way to the kitchen. Thermoses filled with almost
scoldinghot coco and gallon baggies bulging with still warm smoked jerky lined a counter top. There was enough
for each friend and himself to have a thermos and bag each, plus extra for four more just in case a few new
friends were invited. One by one, each was carefully packed into a pack. Next came the tarp blankets. Those he
packed in a separate pack, and just in time as there was knock. Opening the door, Vedran was met by
Ioniza,
Shanti, and
Amantius. After shouldering the heaviest pack himself and Amantius took the second one, the four made
their way to the same hill they had been going to for years for a day filled with sliding fun, hot coco, and jerky.
Sorry, my tablet choose to stop working after getting the second rough sketch mostly done.☃
