Slush is often called cold. Don't be mistaken, though, she's not a mean viscet, just physically cold, and constantly. In fact, she's quite warm on the inside. She always likes to help in any possible way she can. Once she met a young viscet, who was freezing cold and alone, in a nearby park and quickly went to buy them a thick woolly jumper. Slush treasures all her memories of helping people. It makes her feel so happy and nice. Whenever she's sad, she just thinks back to a good memory and smiles. This viscet is very energetic and likes to slide around on ice. She doesn't have ice skating shoes, but thinks the experience is just as good as going to a normal ice skating rink, except cheaper! Whatever the case is, Slush can always make a joke. She can think of them at the saddest of times, and normally cheer people up. The problem is that she might think of the wrong joke in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people, which may cause people to feel angry/angrier, sad/sadder, etc. Slush is an extremely cheerful and helpful being, but of course, we all have flaws. She gets distracted by the slightest of things, which can sometimes be embarrassing. Sometimes when she reads a book Slush notices a seagull out of the window and forgets she was ever reading the book. If she was in the middle of a speech a fly would easily grab her attention. Slush is also a bad leader, and if you tried to get her to be the boss of something she would just stand there, stammer, and chew her claws, unsure of what to do. On top of that, she gets tired easily. She may yawn in the middle of your sentence, which may seem rude, but she probably just had half an hour's less sleep last night.

This viscet can be VERY clumsy sometimes. While she "ice skates" on the frozen ice on the path down the road, she usually slips over at least four times. She normally falls over while trying to stand back up! Falling over on ice is a pain, especially when it's in your favorite season, but Slush is used to it. To her, landing onto the ice is just another joke. She's nearly always unharmed but when she does get hurt it's usually only a bruise or graze. When she falls on the ice she may spread her arms out and look like a strange star, and sometimes she even spins round in circles. Once, she landed face first, luckily she landed in a large heap of snow! There was no harm in that, apart from a numb, cold nose! Even though she's clumsy, Slush is NOT put off ice-skating and still enjoys it!

Slush often goes to a small toy shop called "Kohsi's Cosy Corner" in the winter. Despite her age, she still enjoys watching the wind up people waddle along and clockwork carousels spin around. The shop is tiny, but warm and welcoming. The shop is really bright, so bright it has been said to "light up the world at night" which is, of course, an exaggeration. The floor is covered in scarlet, velvety carpet and there are five rowan-wood chairs on the left side of the shop, each with a yellow, silky cushion placed on top. While she's there, she chats with the store owner and he sometimes makes her a cup of hot chocolate, occasionally with whipped cream and/or marshmallows. Most of the toys are wooden, but Slush likes wooden toys. She says they're "classic" toys. Every year from the past 3 years, on December the 23rd, she buys 7 toys. She gives 5 to charity, one to her family and keeps one. The three toys she has kept are: a rocking horse, a wind-up frog and a spinning top. She's getting more toys as I write! Whatever is she buying?

To keep warm in the winter Slush wears two jumpers, a scarf and earmuffs. The ear parts of the earmuffs are baby blue and have silky fur. The headband part is white and soft. Slush may also wear three layers of bubble wrap elbow and knee protectors when ice skating, partly for protection, partly for a joke. As many layers of jumpers as she wears, Slush still ends up covered in snow! It's all over her fur!

bernard is a 17-year-old (in viscet years) jerk. he doesn't consider himself mean, but many others do. he has few friends because of this, but they're good ones. he constantly makes fun of others, not in the poke-in-the-ribs way, but over the line. he talks about others behind their backs, and sometimes even in front of them. he normally makes fun of others in the subjects he's good at, such as music and ice skating. he plays the violin and piano and typically plays in front of others to show how good he is. bernard is also very prideful, and typically brags about things he's done. his parents are rich and he typically gets to do a lot of stuff. his parents tried to make him better, but to no avail. the viscet was like this from a young age, he didn't even try to hide it. he is respectful of his elders and doesn't make rude remarks about them, just normally about his equals or those younger than him. he loves being better than others, and constantly hints at it very obviously. he can lie very well and typically does it to get out of certain situations. it typically comes in handy when homework assignments are due and he hasn't done them. his parents know he is incredibly bright, so they make him do it on his own. they normally don't let him on electronic devices until it's done, but he normally has one or two hidden in a secret compartment. he goes to a public school and was bullied when he was younger, until he got a backbone and started lashing back, thus leading him to the point where he is now, bullying others. he tries not to do it around teachers, but normally that doesn't work too well. getting detentions is not normal for him, surprisingly. to sum it up, he's a jerk.

bernard is obviously the type to laugh and make fun of others when they slip and fall, not giving a thought to helping them get up. being incredibly good at ice skating himself, it makes it more fun to laugh at the 'newbs' trying to skate. he'll normally make a quick remark to aspen, and laugh at it more. aspen will normally help the fallen viscet up, but nonetheless still laugh. (bernard taught him to skate well so that they could laugh together) he normally ignores the viscet that has fallen, but if it is a really bad fail, he'll laugh. he's quite sadistic you see, so this doesn't bother him at all. others normally chastise him for this behavior, but it's probably physically impossible for someone to get him to stop through words. he does not care at all for other's comments, because he's way too busy making his own.

favorite winter haunt
bernard walked through town with his friend, aspen. the two were headed towards the new cafe in town because aspen wanted to check it out. padding through the streets, the wind buffeted their fur and snow blew into their faces. out of the corner of his eye, bernard saw aspen pull his head closer to his body. however, bernard did not mind the cold, in fact he enjoyed it. padding through the streets he saw various viscets, including one of aspen's half-sisters. he waved and blushed a bit, and he vaguely heard her call back. the wind was picking up again and he sped up a bit, the snow starting to get through his thick pelt.
"my coat is dirty," aspen whined, brushing off his starry pelt. bernard rolled his eyes and snorted as aspen started talking again."what are you getting? i'm getting hot coca. i'm freezing."
"really? i feel fine. i'm just going to get a cup of coffee," bernard replied. "i don't see how you're cold." aspen snorted and barked,
"not everyone is built for winter you know."
"i thought your dad lived in the mountains for years."
"just because he did doesn't mean i can." aspen retorted angrily. rolling his eyes bernard snorted,
"its only snowing, its not that bad." Padding on, the pair of friends finally reached the street where the shop resided. the place was packed. Squeezing through the door to reach the warm inside, it was a small shop that was packed because of the grand opening. there was a nice fire going that warmed up the shop, as well as all the other animals in line. the two waited in line for what seemed like hours until they finally ordered. After sitting down for a few minutes, blackwood was called, which was bernard's last name, as they put it under his name. The pair got up from their seats and took their drinks, starting a new conversation...

staying safe during winter

being the type of person he is, bernard would rather not ruin his 'stunning' (as he calls it) appearance. he typically carries some medical supplies in case he or aspen gets hurt. he used to think he could go without it until an accident happened, (which, by the way, may or may not have broken a few bones) and he decided to take it around with him, just in case. he also carries an extra coat or two with him- as well as a few maps of his area- and a trackphone. he has gotten lost before and prefers not to do it again. he also carries it not only for himself, but for others who are in need. even though he's a total jerk, he will share his things with you if you're injured- seriously or not. mostly he only does it for aspen, though. he also carries hot chocolate powder for some reason.

Keros is quite the slick fellow, no pun intended. He gets along with other viscets easily, since he’s pretty chill and
easygoing. He doesn’t let things get to him, quick to brush them off with a joke. Keros has a knack for clever come-
backs and is good at keeping playful arguments going. The downside to being so laid back is that he doesn't get too
emotionally invested in things. He tends to have many acquaintances but not many close friends, as he has trouble
really understanding how others are feeling. That's not to say that he doesn't care about people. Even though he's
is terrible at comforting people and giving advice, it doesn't make Keros a mean viscet- he just gets a little awkward
and quiet when someone tries to vent to him. He'll still try to make them smile, because lightening the mood is his
natural reaction.

From his carefree demeanor one would think Keros doesn't take life seriously. But he does- he loves life and wants
to live it on his own terms, so he can enjoy it as much as he can. He does what he wants to, and doesn't care too
much about what others will think of him. Keros is also one to stick with his decisions. It's not to prove himself to
others, but to prove to himself that his choices are his own and he can make them work. Even if he doesn't choose
the best option looking back, he lets it go because wants to live a life with no regrets.

Keros took a job as a mechanic soon after graduating high school. Despite being smart enough to go to university
and get himself a high-paying job, he just knows studying for years will bore him out. Going straight into something
he loves (and is good at, for that matter) made him happy, and he wouldn't give up his auto shop for the world.

Are they the clumsy one, or the one who laughs when someone slips?
Generally, Keros is pretty good at keeping his balance, but walking on a flat surface like ice is a different story. His
goopy paws make the ice somewhat more slippery than usual, so Keros tends to slip fairly easily. He's usually able to
catch himself before falling flat on his face, so he can play it off like nothing happened. When he does fall over, he's
able to laugh it off along with anyone else who saw him slip. He'll admit that it's sometimes funny to watch someone
slip, and he's no exception. He doesn't laugh at other slipping viscets in a mean way, but if he can accept getting
laughed at, then he thinks it's alright for the occasional chuckle to escape when he sees someone else fall over in
a particularly amusing way. If they're hurt he's quick to help them up, but it's usually no big deal.

Favorite Winter Haunt
Keros likes to hang out at his friend Creek’s antique shop. He sits on the counter and talks about whatever’s on his
mind with Creek, who always makes a halfhearted attempt to get Keros off the counter, but eventually gives up and
goes along with the casual conversation. When business is particularly slow at the auto shop, Keros even offers to
help out around the antique store, even if Creek insists he doesn’t need the help.

The reason Keros likes visiting the place most in the winter is because, around the holiday season, a lot of viscets
come in looking for holiday decorations or gifts. He finds it interesting to watch what the rushed shoppers pick out
in their hurry to get last minute gifts. Sometimes he offers his opinion when they’re stuck between which ornament
looks the best. Keros also loves helping set up the store at the start of the season, when Creek decorates with an
array of lights and dusty ornaments that he couldn’t bring himself to sell.

How do they stay safe in the winter?
Aside from doing his best to avoid slipping on ice, Keros doesn’t put much of an effort in to stay safe in the winter.
He just throws on an old scarf and makes himself a thermos full of hot cocoa every morning, then goes about his day
as normal. He never has a problem keeping warm and nothing too bad has happened to him yet, so he doesn’t give
the dangers of the season too much thought.
