This viscet has crystals sticking out of its body; they seem to regenerate when broken off and appear to give off a faint glow, as if they are always sparkling in some unseen light. The crystals are white and somewhat transparent, through glimmer different colors depending on the angle or source of light.

This will be an unlimited impress me competition, but with a few minimum requirements.

- Can be done by you or someone else. Has to have some effort put into it, no sketches, exc.
- Can be an animation, no comic for the first part.

✦ 1000 word minimum (total)

- Everything, including personality, tidbits, story, exc.
- Unlimited writing, but 1000 is a minimum combined total

- Can write a story about, present though art or a comic, or even an animated video, exc.
- Can be a small history tidbit section

No. Please don't. You make a separate forum thread for the tryout, but make sure it is clearly linked in your form.

- Why no extensions? What if there are a lot of unfinished forms?
There is plenty of time between now and February 1st. I find extensions to be more troublesome than good, because it kind of cheats the people who really tried and got everything done on time.

Personality: From the day Kei was born, she was a warm-hearted and kind viscet. She would always do the right thing, no matter the cost to herself. Lying was jail-worthy in her mind, and violence... Well, she'd rather avoid it. However, as she grew older, this personality began to leave her. This once innocent little angel began turning colder. She would get into fights herself, and lie to get out of everything. Sneaking out of the house was a common occurrence. There was one thing that she held on to as she became a bit of a rebel, though: Her heart. Despite lying, stealing, fighting, running off, and doing what she wanted, she was still unfathomably kind. She tried her best to hide these awful deeds she did because she would cry herself to sleep if her parents ever found out. As a matter of fact, despite all that she's done, her parents still believe her to be a perfect little angel. She's been trying her best to turn her life around, but is worried she might be unable to. Nonetheless, she has the attitude that anyone can change if they put their mind to it, and that's her current goal.

Kei is fond of crime shows, though she doesn't understand why seeing as they show her what could very well end up being in one herself at some point. Still, she likes how the police try to protect everyone. When she tries to apply for a job, one of her first choices will be a police officer. She also likes soft things, especially pillows. Her sleeping space is always completely cluttered with soft objects varying from plushies, to cotton blankets, to pillows. Her favorite soft item is the pillow, as she has always liked how she can sink right into them whenever she falls asleep. It's almost like her very own self therapy method whenever she feels like she needs to be calm or get over something difficult for herself.

Likes: Fighting, video games, crime shows, dogs, ham, pillows, happiness, flames

Dislikes: Calmness, strenuous activity, kids shows, horses, birds, places so dark she can't see, incredible sadness

B a c k s t o r y

Dec 18, 20XX: This was the day I was born. My father, mother, sister, and I all lived in a small forest, inhabited only by us, a few wild, roaming viscets, and some small critters such as squirrels, birds, and various bugs. Snow poured from the heavens as my mother held me beneath a tree, trying to protect me from the freezing temperatures and the heavy snowfall. At this time, I did not have my crystals, however they will be explained later. I wailed and sneezed from the temperatures, which felt like they were definitely below zero, though I can never be sure exactly. As nightfall took its time approaching, we sat beneath this tree, which was shaped almost like an umbrella, with my mother and father curled around my sister and I in hopes of keeping away hypothermia and the death that would inevitably follow. Eventually, we all fell asleep to the soft sounds of snowflakes landing on our fur.

Jun 26, 20XX: By this point, I was four years old. Not much has changed since the last date, aside from the fact that I am bigger and more active. My sister, who is two years my senior, chased me through the sunny forest playfully, occasionally letting out a friendly nip at my tail to speed up the pace of our game.

Ledgen tells of a cave hidden behind a water fall but this is no
ordinary cave. For this cave is full of beautiful crystals and a
creature not yet known to man. These creatures have been named
Crystal Viscets for the time being until human can study them a
bit more. These creatures are very elegant, most are silver with
crystals that grow along them and get bigger as they get older.
